At One Community, developing a global sustainability plan starts with building working models we can freely share with the world. Our all-volunteer team creates self-replicating solutions spanning food, energy, housing, education, and economics, forming the basis of a worldwide collaboration of teacher/demonstration hubs. In pursuit of “The Highest Good of All,” we open source and freely share our complete process so it can be replicated anywhere, by anyone. It’s how we’re turning evolving sustainability into a practical, global roadmap for regenerating our planet.

DUPLICABLE CITY CENTER PROGRESS

One Community is developing a global sustainability plan through a Duplicable and Sustainable City Center that is LEED Platinum certified/Sustainable, can feed 200 people at a time, provide laundry for over 300 people, is beautiful, spacious, and saves resources, money, and space:

Shivarama Krishna Revanuru (Mechanical Engineer) continued working on the Duplicable City Center design. He worked on the FEA report by adding the material strength values and comparing them with the FEA results to show that the design meets the required test criteria. He researched the use of a thermal blanket for the spa cover, including potential material options and whether adding the thermal blanket is feasible for the current design. Shivarama also worked on the recent suggestion from Jae regarding the implementation of the thermal blanket on the spa cover and evaluated how it could be incorporated into the design. This open source Duplicable City Center project helps in developing a global sustainability plan. Nidish Reddy Koppula (Mechanical Engineer) continued working on the Duplicable City Center design. He finished working on the final elevator project report by organizing the completed design and analysis work into the required documentation. He finalized sections covering the CAD development, structural design updates, finite element analysis results, hydraulic system concept, guide rail and bracket design, material selections, enclosure and door design, and related engineering assumptions. Nidish also checked the report for consistency, completed the remaining technical content, and prepared the document for final submission. This open source Duplicable City Center project contributes in developing a global sustainability plan. Sri Vidya Sai Thumu (Mechanical Design Engineer) continued developing the City Center Eco-spa Designs. She reviewed the existing City Center Hot Tub CAD models and rechecked key structural and dimensional calculations as part of the project management transition. She updated the cinderblock dimensions for better alignment and incorporated the running bond arrangement with Rockwool insulation. She also continued researching sustainable hardware options, including pumps and blowers, comparing energy efficiency, power consumption, durability, maintenance, operating features, and cost. Additionally, Sri Vidya reviewed project documentation and coordinated current team activities and design tasks. Harshada Memane (Mechanical Engineer) continued developing the City Center Eco-spa Designs, reviewing the Waterfall Plumbing Calculation, Water Head Loss, Bill of Materials, Structural FEA Tables, and Access Panel FEA Tables tabs of the Hot Tub Design Calculations spreadsheet, as part of the FEA Validation and Calculation Review task. Formulas were checked against reported outputs across all five tabs, including flow velocity, Reynolds number, friction factor, and total dynamic head on the plumbing and head loss calculations, quantity and cost line items on the Bill of Materials, and stress and displacement results on the FEA tables. On the Bill of Materials tab, two line items, a pipe and a concrete base, were found to list the same value for unit cost and total cost regardless of quantity, indicating the unit cost figure was actually a bulk total rather than a true per-unit rate. On the Structural FEA Tables tab, two separate entries labeled “Bolt Pretension FEA” were found with different maximum stress values, 366 MPa and 372 MPa, with no indication of which one is authoritative. The Access Panel FEA Tables tab was checked against an earlier report comment and confirmed the source of a 250 pound stepping load figure through direct calculation. The Water Head Loss and Waterfall Plumbing Calculation tabs were verified in full, with no discrepancies found requiring comment. One comment was posted on the Bill of Materials tab and one on the Structural FEA Tables tab. This open source Duplicable City Center project contributed in developing a global sustainability plan. HIGHEST GOOD FOOD PROGRESS

One Community is developing a global sustainability plan through Highest Good food that is more diverse, more nutritious, locally grown and sustainable, and part of our open source botanical garden model to support and share bio-diversity:

This week, the core team continued working on the Master Tools, Equipment, and Materials/Supplies List for the Large-scale Garden, Botanical Garden, and other Highest Good Food components, researched properties located on the east side of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon and southern Washington. Also determined the difficulty of aligning all factors on the site location checklist with any single property, as moisture accumulation varies significantly based on topography, distance from the mountains, microclimates, and aspect orientation. Their efforts contribute to One Community’s mission of developing a global sustainability plan through open-source collaboration, ecologically responsible innovation, and a focus on long-term global development. Jay Nair (BIM Designer) continued working on the Aquapini and Walipini Planting and Harvesting documents. He continued refining the greenhouse lighting energy calculator by correcting project-wide settings used across the calculations and filling in missing fixture information. The work focused on reviewing shared calculator parameters, updating fixture-related data, and improving consistency between the project settings and individual zone calculations to support accurate and reliable lighting energy calculations throughout the Walipini 1 spreadsheet. These efforts improve the stability and adaptability of shared systems, supporting the broader goal of developing a global sustainability plan. Shameera Musthafa (Data Analyst) continued working on the Highest Good Food initiative,supported OC Administration and the PR Review Team by coordinating PR review workflows, reviewing the work of both the Admin and PR teams, and providing feedback to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all deliverables. She organized and categorized project images, created visual collages, and finalized blog-related content as part of PR review coordination, ensuring that both visual and written materials were properly curated and documented. Additionally, Shameera contributed to the Highest Good Food report pages and related visualizations. She also managed the One Community Bluesky social media account, creating and publishing posts to help share project updates and increase outreach and engagement. In addition, she supported the hiring process by interviewing and evaluating candidates. This work plays a key role in developing a global sustainability plan. Navya Eeshani Boyapati (Web Designer) continued working on the Aquapini/Walipini. She worked on Task 873: Update the Tools and Equipment for Open Source Construction Page by reviewing the existing page content, updating and organizing the tools and equipment information, correcting HTML formatting and spacing issues, fixing table formatting and value display issues, adjusting image alignment and presentation, and ensuring the page content and layout were consistent with the required formatting standards. See the collage below for a snapshot of this week’s work towards developing a global sustainability plan.

HIGHEST GOOD ENERGY PROGRESS

One Community is developing a global sustainability plan through Highest Good energy that is more sustainable, resilient, supports self-sufficiency and includes solar, wind, hydro, and more:

This week, the core team continued contributing to the Highest Good Energy initiative, part of One Community’s work developing a global sustainability plan. They read through the Sustainable Roads and Parking Lot Selection Guide and made a few minor edits. The team also modified the Highest Good Food calorie needs by step and food costs by step to show monthly amounts, making the figures easier to compare. They then updated the graphs showing the monthly food needs, added all graphs and charts to the Highest Good Food page, and wrote a brief description of each. Rohan Pariakar (Operations and Supply Chain Analyst) began writing and updating the report to document the energy and power-needs analysis developed in the project. He added the energy and power-needs analysis methodology, explaining the equipment-level approach used to determine hourly power demand and daily energy requirements across development phases. Rohan incorporated the revised solar sizing methodology, including the use of peak sun hours and system efficiency to distinguish installed solar capacity from expected daily generation. He updated the report content for the 10-20, 20-50, and 50-100 person phases to explain phase-specific energy requirements, infrastructure additions, and solar expansion. Rohan also added sections describing the incremental solar strategy and the relationship between existing infrastructure and newly introduced equipment as the community grows. He reviewed existing report sections to identify content requiring replacement, expansion, relocation, or retention and applied the required revision formatting to distinguish new and modified material. HIGHEST GOOD EDUCATION PROGRESS

One Community is developing a global sustainability plan through Highest Good education that is for all ages, applicable in any environment, adaptable to individual needs, far exceeds traditional education standards, and more fun for both the teachers and the students. This component of One Community is about 95% complete with only the Open Source School Licensing and Ultimate Classroom construction and assembly details remaining to be finished.

With over 8 years of work invested in the process, the sections below are all complete until we move onto the property and continue the development and open sourcing process with teachers and students – a development process that is built directly into the structure of the education program and everything else we’re creating too:

This week, Isaiah “Isa” Hernandez (Graphic Designer) continued working on the spreads for The Ultimate Classroom book. He updated the pagination and layouts, redesigned the cover, and explored additional possibilities for its visual direction, as well as updated small revisions previously requested. Isa also reviewed and corrected errors from the previous week’s web announcements, making updates to existing materials, formatting, and layouts as needed throughout the ongoing project. HIGHEST GOOD SOCIETY PROGRESS

This week, the core team completed over 35 hours managing volunteer work reviews, handling emails, overseeing social media accounts, supporting web development, and identifying and integrating bug fixes for the Highest Good Network. They also interviewed and onboarded new volunteer team members. Additionally, they produced and integrated the video above about developing a global sustainability plan and how developing a global sustainability plan serves as a foundational element of One Community’s broader mission. Adhya Rastogi (Business Analyst) continued updating the Google Ads Campaign Tracking Spreadsheet with additional ad groups and campaign information. She optimized the Google Ads campaign for the Aquaculture webpage by refining targeting and ad copy. And Adha continued SEO optimization for the Highest Good of All webpage by refining keyword placement, headings, content structure, metadata, readability, and internal linking while maintaining the original messaging. She also completed SEO optimization for the Highest Good Energy webpage, reviewed relevant analytics, and updated the SEO tracking records with optimization and baseline performance information. Adhya continued Reddit activity using the PostByPurpose and One Community accounts by publishing a new discussion post, making relevant comments, reviewing the previous week’s performance, and identifying strategies to improve organic engagement and community participation. Anagha Sunil Bharadwaj (Legal Research And AI Policy Specialist) continued research on perpetual purpose trusts across US jurisdictions and their practical implications. She researched the governance model for the proposed legal structure and developed a proposed structure alongside conclusions for the research question. She researched whether holding property title through an LLC subsidiary, rather than the Community Land Trust directly, would affect the tax-exempt status of the operating 501(c)(3) entity. She finalized the proposed structure and concluded the primary research question in the working document. She then read and reviewed One Community’s property funding plan and began researching how organizations structure land ownership when property is subject to a milestone-based reversion clause. Anagha researched the legal mechanisms available for milestone-based conditional land ownership, including land contracts and contracts for deed, and how performance and milestone-based conditions affect such agreements in practice. She researched deeds containing reversionary clauses and condition subsequent provisions, examining how these mechanisms would affect the mission One Community seeks to achieve, and reviewed case studies where land was held subject to condition subsequent clauses to understand how such conditions impacted the rights tied to the land in practice. Devendranath Chowdary Maganti (Data Analyst) continued developing and organizing the Highest Good Economics (HGE) timeline materials to support the presentation of the project data and visualizations on the web page. He made changes to the initial draft of the HGE Timeline Tracker based on feedback and project requirements. He also integrated the relevant steps from the Highest Good Food Timeline Tracker into the Highest Good Food documentation to align the timeline information with the project content. In addition, Devendranath reviewed Mrudhula’s and Devarsh’s training blogs, left comments with suggested changes, and followed up with them to check on the requested updates. He also continued supporting regular Administration Team and training-related activities. Valentina Collini (Designer) continued creating social media images to support One Community’s outreach efforts, designing graphics that align with the organization’s visual standards and communicating its mission of developing a global sustainability plan. She also worked on reviewing and refining volunteer biographies, making corrections to improve accuracy and overall presentation. In addition, she carefully checked content for errors and implemented necessary updates, helping maintain the quality of both the website and promotional materials. Her work contributed to strengthening One Community’s online presence while ensuring that volunteer profiles and related content remained clear, professional, and up to date. ADMINISTRATION TEAM

The Administration Team’s summary, which covers their work on the Highest Good Network, was managed by Devendranath Chowdary Maganti (Data Analyst) and includes Gargi Vipat (AI Engineer), Olawunmi “Ola” Ijisesan (Administrative and Management Support), Prathik Raju (Data Analyst), Sachit Varma (Business Operations & Cost Analyst), Sai Sree Dongari (Data Analyst), Tanmay Nihal Harwani (Data Scientist), and Yeshwanth Nanjegowda (Full-Stack Software Engineer). The Administration Team supports the Highest Good Network, a tool designed to track and measure progress while creating systems that support developing a global sustainability plan. Through administrative support, documentation, testing, training, recruitment, analytics, and content management, the team helps advance this mission, aligning with One Community’s vision of building a replicable and sustainable future model.

This week, Gargi worked on the AI Bio and Announcement Process and Prompt Creation task, using volunteer data to test and refine reusable Gemini-based prompts for HGN and Administration announcement graphics. She also developed and finalized a bio-writing prompt for the Collaborators and Team pages based on published bios and different levels of career information. In addition, she participated in hiring interviews and reviewed admins in training, providing feedback where needed. Ola reorganized the administrative filing system, removed obsolete files, organized remaining documents, created weekly folder structures for the Admin and PR teams, and updated information related to social media content scheduling. These workflow, documentation, and administrative activities supported developing a global sustainability plan.

Prathik gained access to schedule Facebook and Instagram posts, set up an AWS account for extracting Meta Business Suite data, and completed a dry run of the social media analytics process. He coordinated with Leo on Facebook and Instagram analytics, reviewed the Application Page Analytics task and its Figma design, completed an application submission test, and performed daily team time log reviews with feedback and warnings where needed. He also reviewed additional volunteer time logs, provided supporting feedback and screenshots, reviewed training work for Mrudhula, Devarsh, and Yeshwanth, and completed weekly blog reporting for Team Alpha and Team Binary Bridge. Sachit expanded the One Community funding matrix from roughly 60 prospects to more than 100, researched and rated individual and institutional funders, identified connections, corrected inaccurate information, and screened out entries that did not meet requirements. He also assigned priority levels, created funding motivation statements, and compiled a ranked list while checking for duplication and consistency. These analytics, research, and tracking activities furthered the goal of developing a global sustainability plan.

Sai Sree organized review images, created visual collages, finalized PR Admin Team blog content, and completed frontend testing across multiple application areas. She validated modals, filters, charts, dashboards, navigation, task functionality, submission data, loading states, tooltips, keyboard navigation, light and dark modes, date-range updates, and data accuracy. She also updated the PR Review Dashboard and Advanced PR documentation, logged frontend testing items, and reviewed the training work of two team members with feedback where needed furthering One Community’s mission of developing a global sustainability plan.

Tanmay updated existing bios, followed up on missing summaries and photographs, consolidated content from multiple team blogs, and completed SEO updates before publication. He posted on Threads, updated the Social Media Master Dashboard, maintained tracking sheets and volunteer records, reviewed initial tasks from two new admins, checked title and description discrepancies, and tested merged PRs while documenting issues. These quality assurance, content management, and administrative activities contributed to developing a global sustainability plan.

Yeshwanth created Weekly Blog #701 for Team Dev Dynasty and Team Skye, prepared team collages, wrote team summaries, organized Dropbox materials, and reviewed administrators’ work with feedback on required changes. He created Excel documents containing action items and test items for the handoff process and reviewed the training and administrative work of Mrudhula and Devarsh. For HGN Software Development, he worked on urgent dark mode and PR Promotions hotfixes, including updates to the Upcoming Events section and VIBGYOR badge colors for improved consistency across light and dark modes. HIGHEST GOOD NETWORK PROGRESS

One Community is developing a global sustainability plan through open source Highest Good Network^® software that is a web-based application for collaboration, time tracking, and objective data collection. The purpose of the Highest Good Network is to provide software for internal operations and external cooperation. It is being designed for global use in support of the different countries and communities replicating the One Community sustainable village models and related components.

This week, the core team continued testing HGN PR testing on the Main branch for the Highest Good Network, a platform developing a global sustainability plan, and confirmed 11 PRs as fixed. Three PRs were not fixed: PR #5375, Add Filters and Improve Readability for Predicted vs Actual Cost Line Chart, updated in PR #5403; PR #4124, Add Village Dropdown Filter on Bidding Homepage; and PR #5340, Make Role Changes to an Individual Produce a Confirmation Modal. They also created a new task to fix the poor layout of the pop-up window displayed when clicking the Reset Time button. The team was not able to test PR #4846, Add Inline Validation & Guidance for Purchase Request Fields, or PR #5281, UI Fix for Applicants by Experience Donut Chart, because there was no data available on the Main branch. ALPHA SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAM

The Alpha Team’s summary, covering their work on the Highest Good Network, was managed by Lin Khant Htel (Frontend Software Developer) and Prathik Raju (Data Analyst) with a team consisting of Handika Harianto Ew Jong (Full Stack Developer), Maithili Kalkar (Software Engineer), Sai Sandeep (Software Engineer), Som Ramnani (Junior Software Engineer), and Yingshu Wang (Software Engineer), supporting One Community’s mission of cross-functional software development and system improvements. This work advances the team’s objectives, ensuring that all completed tasks directly contribute to developing a global sustainability plan.

This week, Lin managed the team summary, reviewed PR #2331 by reviewing the code and running tests locally, and checked Alpha team members’ weekly summaries, photos, and videos as part of team management duties, supporting the goal of developing a global sustainability plan. Handika worked on the YouTube auto-poster frontend by improving the announcements page styling and video details interface, replaced several D3.js charts with Recharts to improve tooltip behavior, updated related tests and empty states, removed unused code, and improved dark mode styling across several components, contributing to developing a global sustainability plan.

Maithili resolved multiple issues with the Instagram publishing feature by correcting backend route registration, request headers, Meta token handling, media access, publishing status checks, authentication data, post history fields, CORS configuration, and frontend display issues, and verified the full flow from media upload and publishing through history retrieval and display, furthering developing a global sustainability plan. Sai worked on PR #5451 by fixing x-axis labels and spacing in the Volunteer Trends line chart, improving chart formatting for larger datasets, adding checks to prevent empty rendering errors, and maintaining consistent behavior across light and dark modes, supporting developing a global sustainability plan.

Som worked on PR #5456 by improving dark mode support across the Activity FAQ section, adding tests for themes, accordion behavior, search, filtering, and contact interactions, and replacing the inactive contact link with a button that copies the contact email and provides success or error notifications, advancing developing a global sustainability plan. Yingshu continued improving the Volunteer Time scrolling behavior by assigning a dedicated identifier to the modal scroll container, updating SaveButton to preserve and restore only the targeted modal position, adding support and validation for the new property, updating regression tests, and confirming that all 14 related tests, ESLint checks, Git diff checks, and the production build passed, contributing to developing a global sustainability plan. BINARY BRIGADE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAM

The Team Binary Brigade’s summary, covering their work on the Highest Good Network, was managed by Roshini Seelamsetty (Software Engineer) and Prathik Raju (Data Analyst) with a team consisting of Aditya Krishnamurthi (Software Engineer), Amaan Syed (Volunteer Software Engineer), Mahitha Pasupuleti (Software Engineer), and Sita Ram Prasad Martha (Software Engineer). Roshini coordinated the weekly summary workflow, ensuring all technical milestones align with the project’s goal to contribute to developing a global sustainability plan.

This week, Aditya reviewed seventeen pull requests across the HighestGoodNetworkApp and HGNRest repositories, covering frontend and backend pairs for the Permission Change Log, the X “Copy & Post” workflow, BM Dashboard Materials table indicators, the Assign Lesson Plan feature, review APIs, the Project Status Donut Chart endpoint, the Facebook Pages auto-poster, the Global Distribution map, supplier and order data models, and the Supplier Performance and Tools Stoppage charts. Testing surfaced several issues requiring changes, including incorrect role display in the Permission Change Log, dark mode inconsistencies across multiple dialogs, a broken Materials filter reset, unvalidated Due Date and price fields, an unresponsive Select button, background 404 errors, and missing upper-bound validation on quantity fields. Several PRs, including the review APIs, Project Status Donut Chart endpoint, and Global Distribution map frontend, passed testing without issues, supporting the goal of developing a global sustainability plan.

Amaan worked on multiple frontend pull requests across the Building Materials, Reports, and Project Management dashboards. His work included merging development changes, resolving conflicts, restoring Materials page functionality, updating validation behavior, improving image previews, navigation, and dark mode presentation, updating inventory page layouts and action controls, stabilizing project color assignments across Injury Severity and Injury Type charts, updating chart tooltip styling, improving responsive navigation and scrolling behavior in the Resource Management Dashboard, adding permission-related feedback, addressing code quality findings, resolving a production build issue, and validating functionality across filters, permissions, responsive layouts, and dark mode, contributing to developing a global sustainability plan.

Mahitha worked on Garden Management functionality covering garden calendar events, seed inventory, and seed order workflows. Her work included updates to frontend layouts, spacing, alignment, readability, event information, status displays, popups, and accessibility, along with backend controller logic, API integration, validation, date and ID handling, status management, and database operations. She also addressed code quality and security findings, simplified query logic, limited updates to permitted fields, reduced controller complexity, expanded automated test coverage, updated tests for controller changes, and addressed ESLint, formatting, accessibility, maintainability, and SonarCloud findings across affected files, furthering developing a global sustainability plan.

Sita Ram completed the backend for the Promotion Eligibility Dashboard, working alongside Swathi on the frontend; the pull request is now open for review and covers every requirement in its specification. He built the “Review for This Week” grouping so the reviewer table can be filtered into three Owner-configurable groups. He rebuilt the Weekly Requirements and Remaining Weeks columns after finding they measured something different from the Required PRs column, fixing three related problems in the process, including one that would have offered 46 unreviewed accounts for promotion. Sita Ram also completed the Process Promotions feature, which places a newly promoted reviewer onto a matching team; after confirming the required placement data did not exist anywhere across 1,112 teams, he built a place for it along with a preview step for reviewing placements before they take effect. Finally, he added a History column tracking each reviewer’s past pull request counts and a column for rating individual reviews, writing 145 tests and verifying the work against real data. The team includes Aditya Dubey (Software Engineer), Akshay Viswanath (Software Engineer), Amaresh Chaudhary Nara (Software Engineer), Ansh Shah (Software Engineer), Bosu Babu Bade (Software Developer), Gayatri Sawant (Software Engineer), Mahathi Ganimisetti (Data Analyst), Shreevaths Karawal Satish Rao (Software Engineer), Shreyas Battula (Software Engineer), Sireesha Kunchala (Software Engineer), and Yuxuan Wang (Software Engineer). The Highest Good Network software supports developing a global sustainability plan by strengthening the digital tools needed to track progress, manage resources, improve collaboration, and support data-informed decision-making across sustainable community systems.

This week, Aditya restored the missing FAQ functionality on the job application listing page, improved the FAQ implementation and testing, corrected access behavior for public FAQ content, sanitized rendered answers, improved documentation for reviewers, fixed project total calculations so archived and active project counts remain accurate, and began reviewing application and job-posting workflows for additional usability gaps. Akshay corrected date filtering for the Task Completed chart so reporting reflects the selected period, added regression coverage for the filtering logic, and continued improving HGN Help access rules so restrictions apply only to appropriate help requests without blocking authenticated users from separate suggestion functionality. Amaresh connected Event Participation Analytics to live data, restored missing backend routing, corrected navigation and dark-mode styling, converted globally scoped CSS across the application to component-scoped styling to prevent visual leakage, and significantly reduced the size of Team Member Tasks responses by limiting user-profile data to only the fields needed by the frontend, improving both performance and privacy. This work further supports developing a global sustainability plan by improving the digital infrastructure needed to organize teams, validate data, and make informed decisions across sustainable community operations.

Ansh completed additional badge testing across higher contribution milestones, investigated and continued fixing the missing Stewardship milestone badge behavior, and reviewed several frontend features involving project filters, navigation controls, mentor counts, Popular PR filtering, supplier filtering, and light and dark mode behavior. Bosu continued maintaining the Event Reschedule functionality, resolving development conflicts, build and formatting issues, and reviewer feedback while verifying the application through extensive automated testing. He also investigated role-based access to PR Grading and Promotion Eligibility functionality, confirmed that a previously reported regression had already been corrected, and improved the PR Review Team Analytics Dashboard by restoring team member counts and fixing quality-distribution chart tooltips across number and data views contributing to One Community’s mission of developing a global sustainability plan.

Gayatri continued correcting Total Org Summary dashboard inconsistencies involving volunteer and mentor counts, summary cards, donut-chart calculations, and percentage rounding. She also fixed an Hours Completed reporting issue that incorrectly displayed zero task hours, verified accurate results across multiple date ranges, and resolved several CI/CD blockers involving duplicate imports, stale routes, outdated tests, runtime versions, and insufficient test coverage. This work advances developing a global sustainability plan by strengthening analytics, reporting, accessibility, and system reliability so sustainable initiatives can be measured, coordinated, and scaled more effectively.

Mahathi improved Lessons Learned analytics by refining keyword-frequency and injury-severity visualizations, strengthening project and date filters, labels, tooltips, legends, contrast, and dark-mode behavior, and then began improving the Utilization Chart to provide a more consistent analytical experience across themes. Shreevaths corrected chart issues involving overlapping labels, incorrect default dates, raw project identifiers, filter layout, chart sizing, and CI configuration, improving both usability and maintainability. Shreyas updated multiple development branches, corrected alignment issues, verified that User Profile changes save and persist correctly without duplication or regression, and implemented additional requested frontend updates. Sireesha resolved backend and frontend merge conflicts across several Highest Good Network features, corrected duplicate declarations and case-sensitive import issues, investigated test-environment failures, and verified application stability through local testing. Yuxuan improved the Hours by Team Member visualization by refining responsive pie-chart behavior, label positioning, controls, mobile presentation, and dark-mode readability, and corrected Total Team Report cache validation so invalid cached team data triggers a fresh request instead of incorrectly displaying zero teams and zero tangible hours. This work contributes to developing a global sustainability plan by building more accurate, efficient, and user-friendly software tools for tracking progress, managing resources, and supporting long-term sustainability goals. SKYE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAM

Team Skye’s summary this week, covering their work on the Highest Good Network, was managed by Yeshwanth Nanjegowda (Full-Stack Software Engineer) and Anthony Weathers (Software Engineer), includes Jaden Wong (Software Engineer), Ken Zou (Software Engineer), Purav Patel (Software Engineer) and Swathi Angadi (Software Engineer). The Highest Good Network software contributes to developing a global sustainability plan by improving the reliability, usability, accountability, and scalability of the open-source software systems used to coordinate and measure sustainable community operations.

This week, Anthony continued improving role-change and permission-management functionality by preserving a user’s previous role when role changes occur through different workflows, updating backend information so removed permissions correctly reference the prior role, and adjusting User Profile behavior so added or removed permissions are not unintentionally reset. He also investigated role-modification logging behavior and discussed a separate review issue with Ken contributing to One Community’s mission of developing a global sustainability plan.

Jaden completed improvements to the Job CC Dashboard by correcting invalid date handling, resolving stale data that prevented newly added email addresses from being deleted, replacing custom modal structures with standardized components, adding Enter-key submission and email validation, ensuring new entries receive valid server identifiers, and moving dark-mode styling into CSS Modules. He also corrected an Events page issue where newly created events did not appear in the Upcoming Events list by restoring the parent callback and updating the event list after successful creation, then verified the related changes through linting and automated tests furthering One Community’s mission of developing a global sustainability plan.

Ken continued improving the Project Report Page by aligning the Tasks Table with the WBS and Members tables, correcting dark-mode styling for filters and forms, fixing CSS Module usage in Pie Chart components, and reorganizing the chart and statistics into a two-column layout. He also reviewed several software features involving dark mode, charts, filters, endpoints, badge editing, and 404-page navigation, confirming working functionality while identifying remaining text, contrast, notification, and testing-instruction issues. Purav updated Core Team additional-hours carryover logic so weekly requirements account for base commitment, previous missed hours, and incremental penalty hours, corrected infringement counting and email calculations, removed duplicate infringement descriptions, and aligned resend-email behavior with the updated calculations. He also added reusable test data, integration scenarios, expanded email tests, improved test teardown and CI reliability, and verified the targeted functionality locally supporting One Community’s mission of developing a global sustainability plan.

Swathi expanded the Review for This Week functionality by adding custom date-range selection and persistence, integrating real API data in place of mock data, and displaying reviewer information through a modal. She also added functionality for creating PR entries and opening PR details to assign ratings, while continuing to investigate backend persistence issues affecting newly added PR values and saved ratings. This work further advances developing a global sustainability plan by creating more dependable, accessible, and data-driven systems for coordinating people, monitoring outcomes, and scaling sustainable community solutions.
