Let’s talk about eco-renovating our collaborative models. Right now it seems most of society is founded more on competition than collaboration. What if we changed that focus to be cooperative instead, and built it on a foundation of logical sustainability for the benefit of all people and life on the planet? One Community is open sourcing and free sharing the necessary plans to do exactly this, and we’re designing it to be self-replicating.

This week’s focus was promoting our project and the One Community helping page to US television stations. You can see below the list of the ones he contacted this week and a version of the press release he is sharing on how they relates to eco-renovating our collaborative models.
TEKtalent Inc. (a custom programming solutions company) also continued with their 19th week helping with the Highest Good Network software. This week Nithesh and the TEKtalent team completed the functionality for deletion of team and project assignments from the userprofile. Through this admins can un-assign a project / team from a user profile. Once Jun has done the refactoring of the user profile, this can be merged with his work. Azure portal troubleshooting is still in progress too. Pictures of this new functionality are below, see how they relates to eco-renovating our collaborative models.
Wen Zhang (Software Engineer) completed her 21st week as a volunteer working on the Highest Good Network software. This week Wen has been working on the badge images, specifically the Dropbox URL issue. First she tried importing all the URLs into the Compass MongoBD, but that didn’t work. After that, she tried applying the DropBox links the core team created directly in the React component, but that didn’t work either.
Wen found that Dropbox has recently changed the way the files are shared, and they no longer support web hosting images the same way as before, so the URLs needed to be manipulated. The conclusion is that we need all the links created by the owner of the image file, and we then revise the URsL from there. This worked and some pictures are below of the results, see how they relates to eco-renovating our collaborative models.
Jerry Zhang (Software Engineer) completed his 10th week working on the Highest Good Network software. This week, Jerry completed TaskNotificiation documents that are now created automatically when a task’s info has been edited. A separate TaskNotification document is created and assigned to each user assigned to the task. Jerry has not yet set up Time-To-Live (TTL) for the task notifications yet to auto-delete, but will be working on that in the next week or so.
The frontend is also now able to pull all notifications for each team member. Currently it just displays a bell icon and is not interactive. Having the bell icon open up a notification dialog on click will be the primary task for next week. Pictures are below showing some of this work, see how they relates to eco-renovating our collaborative models.
Noor Qureshi (Insurance Researcher) completed her 10th week helping research One Community’s insurance options. This week Noor worked through the specific healthcare plans for Anthem Healthcare.
