One Community is always seeking other organizations and people changing the world so we can work together and create what we know is possible even faster. Our most recent partners Ziggy Tolnay and his organization RBE10K are great examples of the kind of people and organizations we seek to work with. Welcome to the team Ziggy and RBE10K!
ABOUT US | OUR TEAM | OUR PARTNERS | HELPING OVERVIEW
Ziggy Tolnay – Software Developer and Database and Systems Designer and Administrator: Ziggy has over two decades of experience as a Software Developer and Database and Systems Designer and Administrator. In 2010 he began his journey with social activism and has since participated in the design of city systems with The Venus Project, coordinated the Sydney Chapter of The Zeitgeist Movement, and was also one of the pioneers of Occupy Sydney. Now, Ziggy is the founder and currently one of the coordinators of The RBE10K Project, an experimental non-commercial self-sufficient community of 10,000 volunteers planned to settle in 2015, and who’s goal is erradicating worldwide poverty, war, and unsustainability within an adult lifetime. Sharing One Community’s values of sustainably thinking and creating for The Highest Good of All, Ziggy is part of the team working and collaborating with One Community on our evolving infrastructure including food, energy, and housing.
RBE10K (Ziggy) http://www.facebook.com/Rbe10k
RBE10K is an international community effort for designing and planning, by the end of 2014, a social arrangement engineered to satisfy premises of full sustainability, self-sufficiency, equality, freedom, health, and access to the necessities of life without using money, trade, or authority or privilege systems. It plans testing the design, based on minimalism/simple living and the Resource-Based Economic Model (RBEM), in a two-year-long trial beginning in 2015, conducted and fully financed by 10,000 volunteer inhabitants. It’s ultimate goal is producing an attractive and proven design, easy to replicate, in the hopes it will be increasingly adopted until becomes available to every person on Earth without a price tag, and thus eliminating poverty and significantly reducing worldwide cruelty, environmental degradation, and the stresses that lead to war. Both the project itself and its design are based on the principles of voluntarism, horizontality and openness, and are coordinated and supported by several open source tools such as Mediawiki, Libreplan, and Bettermeans. RBE10K and One Community are partnered together because we share our foundations of Highest Good of All thinking, open source creation, sustainability, resource based economy implementation, and the belief that we as a species have the ability within one human lifetime to create a world where every person has access to the food, clean water, energy, and housing they need. Working together we intend to create this world faster for everyone.

This week’s video goes over the details of how many people are working on all the various pieces of the project, our commitment to open source usability of everything we do (@12:15), how we see ourselves as a stepping stone to the Venus project (@16:00), and a great description of how the open source education for life program will work and provide usable lesson plans for virtually any subject and applicable in almost any environment (@19:30).
HOW CAN YOU CHANGE THE WORLD – HIGHEST GOOD LIFESTYLE CONSIDERATIONS
We’ve complete our Highest Good Lifestyle Considerations page covering the areas beyond Highest Good infrastructure, Highest Good society, and a resource based economy that we consider important for One Community to address so that we demonstrate the most comprehensive approach possible for Highest Good of All living. This page will continuously evolve as on-going and globally collaborative open source portal to the research and development of One Community and any collaborative partners interested in helping us address Highest Good living in areas beyond our core open source project-launch blueprinting foundations, asking the question: how can you change the world, covering everything from cleaning supplies and hygiene supplies to electronics and machinery.

The owner of the property we have been working on purchasing for the last two years has offered us amazing seller financing and given us an opportunity to re-engage at a new level those we know who are helping us try and find funding. We still haven’t found the funding we need, but this seller financing option has definitely opened up possibilities and so we are seeking with new vigor the person we know is out there to help us either as a financial investment or donation to our 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
As part of this we are making significant updates to these three funding related pages:

The Tropical Atrium is moving forward and this week we’ve finished adding all the associated links to Wikipedia for every plant on the Tropical Atrium Planting and Harvesting page. We’ve also completed as a ton more formatting updates and additional behind the scenes organization and simplification to make all easier to use and understand once we put it up.
Here’s an example of what all 57 of the plants will look like on this page when completed:
Celosia argentea are brilliantly colored plants and come in three types that are easily distinguishable from each other: plumes, crests, or spikes. These will look like plumes of jewel-colored feathers, wrinkly-looking knobs, or elongated cones. This plant loves direct sun and well-drained soil. It ranges in size from dwarf varieties (4-12″) to vigorous types over 3′ tall.
Aside from culinary uses, primarily we will grow this for its accent color and the fact that these annuals (sometimes classified as short lived perennials) allow us to add variety and constant change from year to year by rotating various colors in different locations. This plant is not labelled on the map but because of its tolerance for direct sun, anywhere on the lower fingers near the middle of the terraces will suit it well.

Charles McLean (Architecture & Urban Agriculture Designer, Professor, and owner of OM Greengroup) has said he’s completed the first generation 3D rendering of the Aquapini Design. We hope to have an export we can share of that this week as well. Here’s what it looks like in 2D:
Here it is at the beginning stages of 3D:
Here is the 1st generation 3D rendering of the earthbag village domes thanks to the help of John Bassist (organizer of this e-group hub wiki as well as this Needs/Instincts Centered Economics (NICE) Facebook page). We’re now working on getting one very detailed dome and then we will duplicate this 75 times and start laying out the rest of the whole village in 3D.
All the individual existing educational systems analysis pages are now complete (Montessori, Waldorf, Orff, Reggio, Multi-Intelligence, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Study Tech) and we are now focusing on the Foundations of Teaching and Communicating component. Stephanie VanderKallen (Mental Health Professional and Teacher) also continues to make tremendous progress on the Evaluation and Evolution component of the Education for Life program and we’ve begun to post this work on these three new pages:

One Community is creating a place to grow together and change the world together while responding to the question, how can you change the world. We are creating a space that helps each other live in integrity with each other and the planet as we strive to be the greatest versions of ourselves. We do this by harmoniously respecting each other, nature, and the rest of our one shared planet.
Our goal is to demonstrate what we feel is the most sustainable, healthy, and fun environment we can create. A place based on compassion, kindness, and collaboration. This replicable community will serve as an example for what is possible and figure out how can you change the world.
Throughout our design process we are open sourcing and free-sharing everything needed for construction and replication. This includes what we call “Highest Good” approaches to food, energy, housing, education, for-profit and non-profit economics design, social architecture, fulfilled living, stewardship practices and more. We are creating these resources for implementation as individual components or complete developments called teacher/demonstration hubs. These hubs will help launch additional hubs as awareness and knowledge growth on how can you change the world.
One Community will be the first teacher/demonstration hub on how can you change the world. It will function as an experiential-learning model that facilitates mass participation to address humanity’s most pressing challenges through: A replicable model for expansion, building seven self-sufficient village/city prototypes, becoming the world leader in open-source sustainability solutions, and evolving and expanding ALL aspects of sustainable living.
The One Community self-replicating model is capable of creating a sustainable planet within 30 years. We will achieve this by establishing successful teacher/demonstration hubs on every continent. Villages include designs appropriate for each of the five main types of climates. They also include options for even the most challenged economies. These hubs will collaborate with one another, share ideas, resources, and work together as a network to heal the planet while responding to the query of how can you change the world. They will also transform the global lifestyle to a more enjoyable, fulfilling, healthy, and sustainable one.
The specifics of how One Community is accomplishing this can be found on the One Community Solution Model to Create Solution-creating Models Page. Research supporting and showing the benefits of a model like this can be found on our Research and Resources Articles Archive.
Even if we don’t achieve our ultimate goal of global transformation, a self-replicating teacher/demonstration model like this will take a relatively short period of time to positively affect millions while inspiring millions more. For One Community residents (the Pioneer Team), the idea of creating and sharing the social and recreational experience with visitors is also fun, exciting, fulfilling, and an additional reason why we are creating this.
One Community’s four-phase strategy for the creation of solution models that create solution creating models uses open source blueprints for duplication that simultaneously address all aspects of the human experience (food, energy, housing, education, social inequality and injustice, fulfilled living, etc.), on how can you change the world. We see these areas as interdependent and requiring a comprehensive solution if humanity is to move ecologically, socially, economically, and permanently towards a truly sustainable future for everyone.
Our open source model and blueprints regarding how can you change the world engage and inspire people while simultaneously making sustainable living more affordable and easy to replicate. By free-sharing the step-by-step plans people need for duplication, inviting people to participate, and demonstrating sustainable teacher/demonstration hubs as a more desirable way of living, the model will predictably expand on its own.
It is this approach we see uniting the world and leading to a new Golden Age for humanity. While we understand that not everyone believes this is even possible, we are nonetheless bringing together all those that do see this as possible as the non-profit think tank of forward-thinking individuals willing to design, build, and open source project-launch blueprint and free-share it for The Highest Good of All.
One Community is open source sharing an evolution of sustainable living that addresses the complete human experience in answering the question how can you change the world. We are doing this because we see the solutions for global food, housing, energy, education, social inequality, ethical business practices, earth regenerative practices, and a desire for a more fulfilling living experience as inseparably interconnected. As a comprehensive solution, we are addressing all these areas simultaneously and open source free-sharing everything needed for individual duplication and/or duplication as complete self-replicating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities to be built around the world.
As we address and open source share these areas we will establish a living example of the first teacher/demonstration village purposed to teach others. To maximally facilitate duplication, One Community will provide seven duplicable examples and function indefinitely as a place people can visit and a non-profit and open source think tank continuing to further evolve and share solutions in all of the above areas and more. We will also provide hands-on experience and training. Most importantly, growing upon our sustainable foundation, we will endlessly make this comprehensive solution even more widely known and globally accessible, understandable and diversely duplicable, and inspiring and desirable as a model worth duplicating.
The more people that are inspired and desiring for themselves what it is that One Community creates, the more demand there will be for spreading the One Community model while working out how can you change the world. This leads to the directing of financial resources and resourceful people where we believe they are needed most: the establishment of additional sustainable communities around the world. We also feel this duplication will specifically happen quickly internationally due to the affordability of overseas land, less restrictive building environments, and the spirit of adventure in many people who really desire to make a difference for those who need it most.
To meet the increasing demand for sustainability that we are contributing to, we are coordinating with manufacturers, education institutions, individuals, and vendors. This is also part of this model to help the world. Its purpose is to facilitate more engagement of the sustainability industry, produce the absolute best possible consumer value, and the most convenient delivery of goods and methodologies for building sustainable living communities and sustainable living components.
This means we not only provide education and increase needed sustainability resources, we also address the underlying roadblocks to a sustainable planet by decreasing the cost and simultaneously increasing the demand and generating financial support for global sustainability, philanthropy, and humanitarian movements and organizations.
As demand to to answer the question, how can you change the world increases, so too will the ways to participate. Right now people are participating as consultants or partners donating time to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and others are more involved as Pioneers of the core team that will be moving to the property. We also have options for people to just follow our progress or participate through internet contribution.
Once the supportive physical infrastructure is about 30% developed, One Community will be ready to additionally expand what we offer to include scholarships, free weekend learning groups, core team members choosing to travel abroad to help others get established too, handling the marketing for all similar models operating for The Highest Good of All, and hosting classes and other sponsored events to promote and demonstrate additional methodologies.
We also imagine the high likelihood that our organization will become a foundation that can be trusted as the donation point for distribution of monies to help others to establish this model also.
On the road to answer how can you change the world, One Community is building solution-creating models designed to create additional solution-creating models to specifically facilitate exponential and sustainable global teacher/demonstration village growth. The following four phases of the strategy we are applying are designed to support each other and accelerate the process globally:
Phase I: Demonstrating a Better Way
We are designing One Community to demonstrate an experience of living that we believe most people will consider to be better because it will be more enjoyable and fulfilling. We also think most people will consider it better because it is made possible specifically through a foundation of sustainable sustainability and a philosophy that is for The Highest Good of All.
Phase II: Open Source Project-Launch Blueprinting
Everything we do we are open source project-launch blueprinting and free-sharing to make it as easy and affordable as possible to duplicate, adapt, and evolve in the manner that suits each individual and/or group’s needs. Free-sharing information like this is our aggressive-exposure engine and an aspect of One Community that will accelerate indefinitely as we continue to build our team, move onto the property, and continuously build and evolve everything that is One Community.
Phase III: Inviting the World to Participate
Everything we are open source project-launch blueprinting is designed to invite the world to participate by duplicating it as either individual components or complete teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities that will be able to be built almost anywhere in the world. Additionally, on the path to determine how can you change the world, people can join One Community as members, consultants and/or partners, or use the suggestions links on our open source project-launch blueprinting hubs to help with the design, implementation, and evolution process. Scholarships, weekend learning and work crews, and tourism will be foundations of One Community once we have sufficient infrastructure in place to support these options.
Phase IV: Universal Appeal and Global Expansion
As One Community continues evolving and establishing ourselves while figuring out how can you change the world, everything we create and promote will serve as the engine to inspire people to align with the concept of open source and sustainable living for The Highest Good of All. We are doing this to create mainstream appeal and our path to achieving this appeal is demonstrating a happier, more affordable, and ecologically friendly model of living that can be built anywhere in the world.
Open source project-launch blueprinting it all is how we believe the model will spread and, possibly most importantly, that it will predictably spread even faster in the areas where it is needed most because building restrictions, the cost of land, and materials costs are in most cases lower in these areas.
One Community sees the issues of the world as interdependent and interconnected. To address them simultaneously, we are open-source blueprinting a more advanced standard of living by designing holistic, environmentally-regenerative, self-sustaining, adaptable solutions for all areas of sustainability. We will model these within a comprehensive “village/city” which will be built in the southwestern U.S. This teacher/demonstration hub will be a place people can experience a new way of living and then replicate it with our open source blueprints: creating a model solution that creates additional solution-creating models. In conclusion, remember the power within you: How can you change the world? Embrace it, and let your actions ignite the flames of positive change.

We believe creating a new earth is a process of:
We are on our path to accomplishing these three focus points and collaboratively creating this new earth with the people who agree with us that it is possible. One Community’s physical location will forward this movement as the first of many self-replicating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities to be built around the world. This is our weekly progress update (#12) covering our accomplishments for the week of  5/13/2013.

We are creating everything One Community does as open source and free-shared blueprints because we see this as the path to a new Golden Age of creativity, innovation, cooperation, and collaboration for all of humanity. Our model is a solution model that creates additional solution creating models enabling people to live and collaborate globally for The Highest Good of All. The easier we make everything we do, the faster we see the world transitioning.
Every aspect of this model supports itself and contributes to its success, from the sustainable food, energy, and homes, to the social architecture, One Community Education Program, and open source sharing model itself. Each piece can be accessed, evolved, and even re-birthed as something completely new that can be used in creating a new earth. It can be duplicated by itself or with other modules, with applications as diverse as the people who want and need them. The constantly expanding total model will additionally be able to be used in its entirety as the open source project-launch blueprint for a variety of duplicate teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities capable of being built virtually anywhere.
The most profound part of creating a new earth is: the more we open source share, the more we help move everyone forward, the more people know about what we are doing and can participate, and the more successful and capable we are of project-launch blueprinting and sharing even more still. This is all supported and made possible because:
One Community’s open source strategy will evolve 5 primary types of open source content purposed to reach and service as broad an audience as possible in order to expedite creating a new earth. This includes the following mediums of sharing that are being developed to function as standalone resources or in combination with each other:
Maximum exposure of the creating a new earth model is accomplished through simultaneous implementation of the following strategies:
One Community sees the issues of the world as interdependent and interconnected. To address them simultaneously, we are open-source blueprinting a more advanced standard of living by designing holistic, environmentally-regenerative, self-sustaining, adaptable solutions for all areas of sustainability. We will model these within a comprehensive “village/city” which will be built in the southwestern U.S. This teacher/demonstration hub will be a place people can experience a new way of living and then replicate it with our open source blueprints: creating a model solution that creates additional solution-creating models.

We believe no-impact living is a choice and we are open source project-launch blueprinting and free-sharing a model for self-replicating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities to be built all over the world to make it easier for The Highest Good of All. Here is One Community’s team progress update, images, and video blog covering our accomplishments and forward movement for the week of May 6th, 2013.

We moved our entire website from http://www.OneCommunityRanch.org to where you are now at http://www.OneCommunityGlobal.org! We have wanted to do this for a long time but the effort needed to make it happen in conjunction with everything else we are working on was just too much. Well, we finally realized that the website is growing so fast that we had better do it NOW or it was just going to get more and more difficult to do in the future. Just a few of the reasons for this move were:
There are a few details still being completed (deleting old pages from the old site, sharing all the new pages through our networks, continued editing and simplification) but the vast majority of the move is already done including:
“LIKE” AND SHARE THE PAGES YOU ENJOY THE MOST! When we moved the site we lost “all of our social media love” in that all our pages now have zero likes and shares on Facebook, Twitter, etc. Some of these pages had hundreds before this move and now they have none… which is really sad for us because we loved seeing and sharing with others all the support and appreciation we’d gotten on some of these pages.
We’re now committed to FURTHER SIMPLIFYING and then sharing a page a day (in addition to new content) to get our message out to the world even more. If you’d like to help us, just liking our posts or helping share some of these new pages is more helpful than most people realize because it helps us show investors and other interested parties that what we are doing is wanted, supported, and interesting to people.
Karl Harris (Architect Drafter, Designer, and founder of Harris Design & Technology Services) continues to work on the SEGO Center 3D! The SEGO Center is a huge aspect of our approach to making no-impact living mainstream because it will replace the traditional living room, dining room, laundry room, kitchen, and library for over 200 homes… all in one building. This will reduce materials costs, increase the beauty and experience possible in these spaces, and dramatically increase efficiency, and allow for a new level of no-impact and “positive impact” research, development, and demonstration for people to visit, experience, and duplicate.

One Community is creating a place to grow together and change the world together through no-impact living.
This replicable community will serve as an example for what is possible since no-impact living is a choice.
These hubs will help launch additional hubs as awareness and knowledge growth on no-impact living.
One Community will be the first teacher/demonstration hub for no-impact living.
These hubs will collaborate with one another, share ideas, resources, and work together as a network to heal the planet via no-impact living.
Even if we don’t achieve our ultimate goal of global transformation, a self-replicating teacher/demonstration model like this will take a relatively short period of time to positively affect millions while inspiring millions more to embrace no-impact living. For One Community residents (the Pioneer Team), the idea of creating and sharing the social and recreational experience with visitors is also fun, exciting, fulfilling, and an additional reason why we are creating this.
One Community’s four-phase strategy for the creation of solution models that create solution creating models uses open source blueprints for duplication that simultaneously address all aspects of the human experience (food, energy, housing, education, social inequality and injustice, fulfilled living, etc.). We see these areas as interdependent and requiring a comprehensive solution if humanity is to move ecologically, socially, economically, and permanently towards a truly sustainable future of no-impact living for everyone.
Our open source model and blueprints engage and inspire people while simultaneously making sustainable living more affordable and easy to replicate. By free-sharing the step-by-step plans people need for duplication, inviting people to participate, and demonstrating sustainable teacher/demonstration hubs as a more desirable way of living, the model will predictably expand on its own.
It is this approach of no-impact living we see uniting the world and leading to a new Golden Age for humanity. While we understand that not everyone believes this is even possible, we are nonetheless bringing together all those that do see this as possible as the non-profit think tank of forward-thinking individuals willing to design, build, and open source project-launch blueprint and free-share it for The Highest Good of All.
One Community is open source sharing an evolution of sustainable living that addresses the complete human experience. We are doing this because we see the solutions for global food, housing, energy, education, social inequality, ethical business practices, earth regenerative practices, and a desire for a more fulfilling living experience as inseparably interconnected. As a comprehensive solution, we are addressing all these areas simultaneously and open source free-sharing everything needed for individual duplication and/or duplication as complete self-replicating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities to be built around the world which will promote no-impact living.
We will also provide hands-on experience and training that will help towards no-impact livingthrough no-impact living. Most importantly, growing upon our sustainable foundation, we will endlessly make this comprehensive solution even more widely known and globally accessible, understandable and diversely duplicable, and inspiring and desirable as a model worth duplicating.
The more people that are inspired and desiring for themselves what it is that One Community creates, the more demand there will be for spreading the One Community model, which will further encourage no-impact living.
To meet the increasing demand for sustainability through no-impact living that we are contributing to, we are coordinating with manufacturers, education institutions, individuals, and vendors. This is also part of this model to help the world. Its purpose is to facilitate more engagement of the sustainability industry, produce the absolute best possible consumer value, and the most convenient delivery of goods and methodologies for building sustainable living communities and sustainable living components.
This means we not only provide education and increase needed sustainability resources to advocate for no-impact living, we also address the underlying roadblocks to a sustainable planet by decreasing the cost and simultaneously increasing the demand and generating financial support for global sustainability, philanthropy, and humanitarian movements and organizations.
As demand increases, so too will the ways to participate.
One Community is building solution-creating models designed to create additional solution-creating models to specifically facilitate exponential and sustainable global teacher/demonstration village growth. The following four phases of the strategy we are applying are designed to support each other and accelerate the process of no-impact living globally:
Additionally, people can join One Community as members, consultants and/or partners, or use the suggestions links on our open source project-launch blueprinting hubs to help with the design, implementation, and evolution process. Scholarships, weekend learning and work crews, and tourism will be foundations of One Community once we have sufficient infrastructure in place to support these options.
Phase IV: Universal Appeal and Global Expansion
As One Community continues evolving and establishing ourselves, everything we create and promote will serve as the engine to inspire people to align with the concept of open source and sustainable living for The Highest Good of All. We are doing this to create mainstream appeal and our path to achieving this appeal is demonstrating a happier, more affordable, and ecologically friendly model of no-impact living that can be built anywhere in the world.
Open source project-launch blueprinting it all is how we believe the model of no-impact living will spread and, possibly most importantly, that it will predictably spread even faster in the areas where it is needed most because building restrictions, the cost of land, and materials costs are in most cases lower in these areas.

One Community is focused on creating a new earth for The Highest Good of All. Open source project-launch blueprinting and free-sharing a model for self-replicating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities to be built all over the world is our path to achieving this. We believe if we make it easy enough, affordable enough, and attractive to enough people, then we can create exponential growth and develop mainstream embracing of these concepts and literally transform life on this planet for everyone. This is our weekly progress update (#10) covering our accomplishments for the week of April 29, 2013.

The A.C.E. (Accountability ” Celebration ” Expansion) App is an open source and free-shared web-based application One Community has developed for time tracking and objective data collection. We’ve spent over 6 months designing it, 3 months beta testing it, and now we use it daily to log and organize each of our team’s contribution through on-going records covering all aspects of the growth and evolution of our project as an open source project-launch blueprinting and research and development organization. This week we finished our 3rd blog discussing our journey to creating this and our open source portal for the application including access to the source code and details around how we are developing it further to additionally help with:
┏ Improving sustainable city efficiency
┏ Welcome Team and Project Team organization and coordination
┏ Gathering data and running reports on infrastructure build times
┏ Gathering data and running reports on complete city social and recreation time
┏ Improving efficiency and communication during large-scale consensus implementation
┏ Logging and tracking education components of the Education for Life program
┏ Logging specific work experience and skills data for individual resume use
┏ Sharing and collaborating on all the above data to make everything easier for others

We continue to simplify our website and update the content. This week we added the image to the left to all of our open source portals to make it easier for people to more quickly and efficiently browse our site and find the details for duplication of everything we are creating. In adding this to all of our portals we also put the finishing details on The Highest Good of All portal focused on our open source project-launch blueprinting and free-sharing details related to stewardship. Additionally we completed the updating of several of our key website pages including our Sustainable Sustainability Page, Freedom Page, Community Maintenance Page, and the One Community Spirituality Page.
The earthbag village (Pod 1) model continues to progress with our intent to demonstrate housing for over 100 people for less than the cost of a moderately priced house in California. We’re now starting to work on the details of plumbing and water catchment and this has led to some changes in the elevations of the different sections of the village as shown here:
Pod 1 Elevation Updates for Plumbing: Click to Enlarge
These elevation changes will allow us to place all of the plumbing at 5 feet below grade (versus the -12 feet we were expecting in some areas before) and they will also save us about 50% of our planned excavation while reducing labor for earth removal as well.
We also made significant additional progress this last week on the labor projections, materials details, and tools and equipment details for this village model as well as to the Planting Details page for the Tropical Atrium.
The One Community SEGO Center City Hub is a foundational component of the One Community duplicable teacher/demonstration community, village, and city model purposed to provide an open source and duplicable city center, demonstrate cutting-edge sustainability, to function as a community, village, or city recreation center, dining hall, and laundry facility, and to offer a green-luxury option to donors, major eco-investors, VIPs, or anyone else that might not feel like they are initially ready to stay in one of our earthbag or straw bale hand-constructed homes. Because it replaces individual kitchens, laundry rooms, and living rooms for residents, the SEGO Center also saves significant resources. We’re now working on 3D for this structure. Here’s the most recent export:

We are creating everything One Community does as open source and free-shared blueprints because we see this as the path to a new Golden Age of creativity, innovation, cooperation, and collaboration for all of humanity. Our model is a solution model that creates additional solution creating models enabling people to live and collaborate globally for The Highest Good of All. The easier we make everything we do, the faster we see the world transitioning by creating a new earth for the highest good.
Every aspect of this model supports itself and contributes to its success, from the sustainable food, energy, and homes, to the social architecture, One Community Education Program, and open source sharing model itself. Each piece can be accessed, evolved, and even re-birthed as something completely new in order to adapt to creating a new earth for the highest good.
The most profound part about creating a new earth for the highest good is: the more we open source share, the more we help move everyone forward, the more people know about what we are doing and can participate, and the more successful and capable we are of project-launch blueprinting and sharing even more still. This is all supported and made possible because:
One Community’s open source strategy will evolve 5 primary types of open source content purposed to reach and service as broad an audience as possible with the aim of spreading word about creating a new earth for the highest good. This includes the following mediums of sharing that are being developed to function as standalone resources or in combination with each other:
Maximum exposure of creating a new earth for the highest good is accomplished through simultaneous implementation of the following strategies:
One Community sees the issues of the world as interdependent and interconnected. To address them simultaneously, we are open-source blueprinting a more advanced standard of living by designing holistic, environmentally-regenerative, self-sustaining, adaptable solutions for all areas of sustainability so as to encourage creating a new earth for the highest good. We will model these within a comprehensive “village/city” which will be built in the southwestern U.S. This teacher/demonstration hub will be a place people can experience a new way of living and then replicate it with our open source blueprints: creating a model solution that creates additional solution-creating models.

COMMUNITY OPEN SOURCE UPDATE – FOUR PHASES OF GLOBAL TRANSFORMATION UPDATE
With a mentality of operating as architects of the future intent upon building and living for The Highest Good of All, we have create and are implementing a 4-phase strategy that we feel is capable of positively impacting life on this planet for everyone. The four phases to accomplish this are
4-PHASES OF TRANSFORMATION | ARCHITECTS OF THE FUTURE ARTICLE
We are beginning with open source project-launch blueprinting 3 different types of sustainable food production systems: a Large-scale Food Production Aquapini, 2 different “backyard version” Zen Aquapini designs, and 3 separate maximally-affordable Walipini Greenhouses. We updated the community open source update page describing all of them:
OPEN SOURCE SUSTAINABLE FOOD SYSTEMS HUB
The purpose of the earthbag village (Pod 1) is to demonstrate maximum affordability and a diversity of earthbag designs that will be able to be duplicated almost anywhere in the world without the need for permits. We will begin building Pod 1 within the first month as a living/rental pod for the initial Community Members, visitors, and students. We are now working on 3D rendering of all the different components of this first village model. Here is this week’s community open source update blog about this with images:
3D Rendering the Earthbag Village
The two new pages we have completed are the Communication and Language Skills Curriculum page and the Sharing, Giving, and Receiving Curriculum page. Both of these pages fall under the broader “Sharing” category of the Curriculum for Life component of the open source Education for Life Program and contain links for input from anyone else interested in international cooperative education, open source development of education, and making the pages and program better! We’ve also finished the foundations of the Contribution and Collaboration curriculum pages.
COMMUNICATION | SHARING | CONTRIBUTION | COLLABORATION
We completed part 2 of 3 of One Community’s open source and free-shared online project management tool evolution blogs. It took two years to develop to where we are now and we’ve been beta testing and continuing to evolve and develop this online application for about 3 months now.

We are creating these resources for implementation as individual components or complete developments called teacher/demonstration hubs. These hubs will help launch additional hubs as awareness and knowledge grow.
One Community will be the first teacher/demonstration hub.
We will achieve this by establishing successful teacher/demonstration hubs on every continent which will always be updated in our community open source update blogs. Villages include designs appropriate for each of the five main types of climates. They also include options for even the most challenged economies. These hubs will collaborate with one another, share ideas, resources, and work together as a network to heal the planet. They will also transform the global lifestyle to a more enjoyable, fulfilling, healthy, and sustainable one.
The specifics of how One Community is accomplishing this can be found on the One Community Solution Model to Create Solution-creating Models Page. Research supporting and showing the benefits of a model like this can be found on our community open source update Research and Resources Articles Archive.
One Community’s four-phase strategy for the creation of solution models that create solution creating models uses open source blueprints for duplication that simultaneously address all aspects of the human experience (food, energy, housing, education, social inequality and injustice, fulfilled living, etc.). We see these areas as interdependent and requiring a comprehensive solution if humanity is to move ecologically, socially, economically, and permanently towards a truly sustainable future for everyone.
Our open source model and blueprints engage and inspire people while simultaneously making sustainable living more affordable and easy to replicate. By free-sharing the step-by-step plans people need for duplication on the community open source update, inviting people to participate, and demonstrating sustainable teacher/demonstration hubs as a more desirable way of living, the model will predictably expand on its own.
As a comprehensive solution, we are addressing all these areas simultaneously and open source free-sharing everything needed via our community open source update for individual duplication and/or duplication as complete self-replicating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities to be built around the world.
Most importantly, growing upon our sustainable foundation, we will endlessly make this comprehensive solution even more widely known and globally accessible, understandable and diversely duplicable, and inspiring and desirable as a model worth duplicating which will always be updated on our community open source update.
The more people that are inspired and desiring for themselves what it is that One Community creates, the more demand there will be for spreading the One Community model. This leads to the directing of financial resources and resourceful people where we believe they are needed most: the establishment of additional sustainable communities around the world. Aided by our community open source update, we also feel this duplication will specifically happen quickly internationally due to the affordability of overseas land, less restrictive building environments, and the spirit of adventure in many people who really desire to make a difference for those who need it most.
As demand increases, so too will the ways to participate.
One Community is building solution-creating models designed to create additional solution-creating models to specifically facilitate exponential and sustainable global teacher/demonstration village growth. The following four phases of the strategy we are applying are designed to support each other and accelerate the process globally:
Phase I: Demonstrating a Better Way
With the use of community open source update, we are designing One Community to demonstrate an experience of living that we believe most people will consider to be better because it will be more enjoyable and fulfilling.
Free-sharing information like this using community open source update is our aggressive-exposure engine and an aspect of One Community that will accelerate indefinitely as we continue to build our team, move onto the property, and continuously build and evolve everything that is One Community.
Phase III: Inviting the World to Participate
Everything we are open source project-launch blueprinting is designed to invite the world to participate by duplicating it as either individual components or complete teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities that will be able to be built almost anywhere in the world.
We are doing this to create mainstream appeal and our path to achieving this appeal is demonstrating a happier, more affordable, and ecologically friendly model of living that can be built anywhere in the world.
Open source project-launch blueprinting it all, via community open source update is how we believe the model will spread and, possibly most importantly, that it will predictably spread even faster in the areas where it is needed most because building restrictions, the cost of land, and materials costs are in most cases lower in these areas.
We are creating everything One Community does as open source and free-shared blueprints that can be found on our community open source update because we see this as the path to a new Golden Age of creativity, innovation, cooperation, and collaboration for all of humanity.
Each piece can be accessed, evolved, and even re-birthed as something completely new. With the assistance of community open source update, it can be duplicated by itself or with other modules, with applications as diverse as the people who want and need them. The constantly expanding total model will additionally be able to be used in its entirety as the open source project-launch blueprint for a variety of duplicate teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities capable of being built virtually anywhere.
The most profound part about community open source update is: the more we open source share, the more we help move everyone forward, the more people know about what we are doing and can participate, and the more successful and capable we are of project-launch blueprinting and sharing even more still. This is all supported and made possible because:
One Community’s open source strategy will evolve 5 primary types of open source content purposed to reach and service as broad an audience as possible. This includes the following mediums of sharing that are being developed to function as standalone resources or in combination with each other:
Maximum exposure of the community open source update is accomplished through simultaneous implementation of the following strategies:
One Community sees the issues of the world as interdependent and interconnected. We will use community open source update to address them simultaneously. We are open-source blueprinting a more advanced standard of living by designing holistic, environmentally-regenerative, self-sustaining, adaptable solutions for all areas of sustainability. We will model these within a comprehensive “village/city” which will be built in the southwestern U.S. This teacher/demonstration hub will be a place people can experience a new way of living and then replicate it with our open source blueprints: creating a model solution that creates additional solution-creating models.

As One Community members learned and familiarized themselves with the ACE Sheet they were posting their contributions and progress and we saw a significant improvement in our ability to stay organized, motivated, and effective. The ACE Sheet was visually appealing, fairly easy to read and modify, and each member had their own unique color so we could see who was working on what.
Additionally, during the consensus training (with facilitators Community consultants Dr. Connie Stomper and Jack Reed) that led to the creation of the ACE Sheet, we had also engaged creating a plan to free up Jae’s time so that he could more effectively work on the broad diversity of tasks that only he could do, to determine what specifically counted as tangible contribution, and to determine how to handle members who have not been contributing or may be drifting away from the project.
Through consensus came the first structure for the Welcome Teams, Project Teams, and the P.E.A.C.E Agreement.

Since the beginning of One Community, weekly Monday night calls were hosted to check-in with the team, brainstorm ideas, share announcements, determine the next course of action, and talk about anything else that needed to be discussed. These calls usually last for at least 2 hours, sometimes 4, and on rare occasions 5 or even more! Once the team got larger, not only were the calls getting longer, but socialization and bonding time greatly increased too.
At this point, Jae was doing all of the welcome calls for new members, check-ins on how each team member was doing, checking to see if anyone needed any assistance on anything and if there were any questions, and all the administration related to follow-up on contributions as well. The establishment of the Welcome Teams delegated a large chunk of these activities.
Each Welcome Team at that point included about 3-4 people and the volunteer or appointed facilitator would facilitate that group. Anyone who wishes to can become a facilitator or even go on a rotation between the members if they so choose. Every couple of months, the Welcome Teams also rotate so that eventually every team member gets to know every other team member. The Welcome Teams also have their own weekly calls in addition to One Community’s weekly Monday night calls.
As a result of the implementation of the Welcome Teams, much of the management tasks can be delegated to the facilitators of each team and this increases efficiency. With this, more members are taking on a larger role in the project, it ultimately saves everyone time, there is more “community” to One Community, more bonding and connecting with our One Community Family, more accountability, and more forward moving energy.
As One Community continues to expand, the amount of projects continue to expand. Another major evolution for One Community was the creation of Project Teams and appointment of Project Team facilitators for these teams to help monitor the productivity and forward movement of specific projects across the diversity of components One Community is engaging. By having separate Project Teams, we can see how much energy is being put into each area of One Community as well as reflect and review on how we can delegate our time more effectively.
Another related implementation that came a later was the Project and Component Flow Charts created at the second consensus training (also facilitated by Community consultants Dr. Connie Stomper and Jack Reed). Sometimes, there are tasks that can be a challenge to organize, document, and keep moving. To ensure that the tasks at hand are moving One Community forward, we have constructed a format to handle larger projects and to keep all the data and advancements documented. This is what it looks like and you can visit the page about it for more details.
*Note* Most smaller tasks do not need this chart in order to be effective.
As One Community went through the initial phases of trial and error and collaborating on the best way to maintain accountability and team leadership development, the P.E.A.C.E (Peaceful Energetic Assessment of Community Experience) Agreement was also created (like the Welcome Teams and Project Teams) during the first consensus training. We’d realized by that first consensus training that to maintain the forward movement and energy of One Community, a consistency of communication and contribution is necessary. We’d realized and experienced that without what became the P.E.A.C.E. Agreement, dozens or even hundreds of hours could be spent in discussion on what the best method would be to handle the issue of accountability and contribution.
The P.E.A.C.E Agreement is our solution and our way to check-in with members who may not be fully present with One Community. By offering assistance and communication, a solution can now be found that will always be for The Highest Good of All including, if necessary, a member choosing or being asked to leave the team. With these additions in place, the clarity of One Community increased dramatically. Most of the challenges now have a solution, and we have a system that is functional, convenient, efficient, and effective.

This last week for One Community has been heavily focused on food infrastructure progress. Doug Stenhouse (Architect and Water Color Artist) spent the whole week adapting, updating, and finalizing the site layout for all the aquapini, zen aquapini, and walipini structures. These final designs went through three major iterations and redesigns:
This first iteration was an indicator that we had too many retaining walls and needed to improve our ability to move around the site and structures for maintenance and ease of use.
This second iterations was true brilliance from Doug! This general design is ultimately what we ended up going with but we wanted to move the solar panels off the water, increase the insulation of the earth around the corners of the subterranean structures, increase seating for the amphitheater this design provides, and we realized we could use the same sloping and planting of the earth to eliminate almost all of the driveway retaining walls.
Here is the final layout of the structures including a cross section drawing looking South. This final design features:
Doug also completed the Zen Aquapini designs based off the ongoing and amazing consulting of Avery Ellis (Aquaponics Specialist and owner/operator of Integrated Aquaponics). In support of our open source goals, these combination aquapinis are purposed to provide a food production system that will be both functional and a beautiful place to relax or entertain people which in turn contributes to the highest good for all progress.
Our goal with these is maximum food diversity and inspiring people to build these in their backyard as a way to produce a volume and diversity of food for all their family and friends (and several additional families) while also creating an aesthetically pleasing place to go and sit “in nature” even when it’s cold and uncomfortable outside. Notable features include:
We’re still designing the “zen” and beauty aspects of this structure but here are the grow zones we have to work with:
Zen Aquapini Grow Zones
TOTAL GROWING SPACE PER ZEN AQUAPINI: 1454 square feet

This past week we additionally completed the research for two more pages of the Education for Life Program and completed the web design for two pages too. Here are the two pages that are completed as part of the open source education hub for highest good for all progress:
COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE SKILLS | SHARING, GIVING, & RECEIVING
Karl Harris (Architect Drafter, Designer, and founder of Harris Design & Technology Services) and Charles McLean (Architecture & Urban Agriculture Designer, Professor, and owner of OM Greengroup) also completed the following for the  SEGO Center City Hub:
All that remains now is the addition of one more emergency exit and we’ll then be back to focusing on 3D renderings of everything while our partners at P2S Engineering are working on what we need to build the SEGO Center as a LEED Platinum certified building.

One Community is creating a place to grow together and change the world together. We are creating a space that helps each other live in integrity with each other and the planet as we strive to be the greatest versions of ourselves , all for the highest good for all progress. We do this by harmoniously respecting each other, nature, and the rest of our one shared planet.
Our goal is to demonstrate what we feel is the most sustainable, healthy, and fun environment we can create. A place based on compassion, kindness, and collaboration. This replicable community will serve as an example for what is possible.
These hubs will help launch additional hubs as awareness and knowledge grow.
One Community will be the first teacher/demonstration hub for the highest good for all progress.
These hubs will collaborate with one another, share ideas, resources, and work together as a network to heal the planet, all for the highest good for all progress.
Even if we don’t achieve our ultimate goal of global transformation in highest good for all progress, a self-replicating teacher/demonstration model like this will take a relatively short period of time to positively affect millions while inspiring millions more.
By free-sharing the step-by-step plans people need for duplication, inviting people to participate, and demonstrating sustainable teacher/demonstration hubs as a more desirable way of living, the model will predictably expand on its own in favor of the highest good for all progress.
One Community is open source sharing an evolution of sustainable living that addresses the complete human experience while explaining the highest good for all progress.
The more people that are inspired and desiring for themselves what it is that One Community creates, the more demand there will be for spreading the One Community model and the better the highest good for all progress will be.
As demand increases, so too will the ways to participate. Right now people are participating as consultants or partners donating time to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and others are more involved as Pioneers of the core team that will be moving to the property. We also have options for people to just follow our progress or participate through internet contribution, and all this contribute to highest good for all progress in One Community.

We also imagine the high likelihood that our organization will become a foundation that can be trusted as the donation point for distribution of monies to help others to establish this model also.
One Community is building solution-creating models designed to create additional solution-creating models to specifically facilitate exponential and sustainable global teacher/demonstration village growth. The following four phases of the strategy we are applying are designed to support each other and accelerate the process for highest good for all progress globally:

Open source project-launch blueprinting it all is how we believe the model will spread and, possibly most importantly, that it will predictably spread even faster in the areas where it is needed most because building restrictions, the cost of land, and materials costs are in most cases lower in these areas.

We are creating everything One Community does as open source and free-shared blueprints because we see this as the path to a new Golden Age of creativity, innovation, cooperation, and collaboration for all of humanity. This will help in the world change progress.
Each piece can be accessed, evolved, and even re-birthed as something completely new.
The most profound part on the journey of world change progress is: the more we open source share, the more we help move everyone forward, the more people know about what we are doing and can participate, and the more successful and capable we are of project-launch blueprinting and sharing even more still. This is all supported and made possible because:
One Community’s open source strategy will evolve 5 primary types of open source content purposed to reach and service as broad an audience as possible. This includes the following mediums of sharing that are being developed to function as standalone resources or in combination with each other:
Maximum exposure is accomplished through simultaneous implementation of the following strategies:
One Community sees the issues of the world as interdependent and interconnected. To address them simultaneously, we are open-source blueprinting a more advanced standard of living by designing holistic, environmentally-regenerative, self-sustaining, adaptable solutions for all areas of sustainability. We will model these within a comprehensive “village/city” which will be built in the southwestern U.S. This teacher/demonstration hub will be a place people can experience a new way of living and then replicate it with our open source blueprints, encouraging world change progress: creating a model solution that creates additional solution-creating models.
"In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the problematic model.
You create a new model and make the old one obsolete. That, in essence, is the higher service to which we are all being called."
