This page is a free-shared lesson plan archive for teaching all educational subjects within the context and theme of “Happiness”. It is purposed for use in community education environments, homeschool environments, traditional schooling environments, or as a supplemental and fun addition to any education program. As part of the complete Education for Life Program, this lesson plan is specifically designed to work in conjunction with the other components: Foundations of Teaching, Curriculum, Teaching Strategies, Learning Tools and Toys, Evaluation Model, and The Ultimate Classroom. A NOTE ABOUT ALL ONE COMMUNITY LESSON PLANS
The One Community lesson plans are intentionally designed for use in ANY educational environment and with ALL educational, cultural, religious/spiritual, and philosophical approaches to teaching and learning. They are designed without an ideological approach and specifically so they can be adapted to include the views, preferences, methodologies, and/or ideologies preferred by different parents and teachers.
For maximum flexibility and adaptation, they are also designed to be combined to teach multiple subjects at the same time. Doing this increases the creativity, effectiveness, and fun of your learning environment. Once we are on the property and operating our version of the complete school and Education for Life program, we will be adding video examples of how to combine the lessons. ARTS AND TRADES

| The Arts - Draw* what you would consider a happy day.
- Use paper, clay, beads, fabric, etc.* to represent the happiest day you remember from age 2, 3, 4, 5.
- Make a photo collage* of your happy moments or someone else’s.
- Paint a portrait* of a happy person’s face and explain all the elements that make that person’s face happy.
- Using colors of happiness, create a collection of paintings* which represent a spectrum of happiness, from contentment to ecstasy, in different styles: realism, abstract painting, etc.
- Compose a piece* that contains 10 “happy elements” & progressively builds from your idea of “joy” to “ecstasy”.
- Develop a curriculum for high school level learners* on a type of art (paintings, sculpture, music) of works by well-known masters of different epochs during the happiest periods of their lives.

- Ask someone* what color, shape, texture, size, smell/taste, design, etc. they associate with happiness. Make something for them based on that
- Make a wearable aroma* that would evoke happy feelings in a person.

Note: Any language can be substituted for English. The subject is listed here as “English” because that is the primary language of most of the people on the team, and the official language of the country we’re building our initial location in.

| - Think of words* you associate with happiness and tell a story using them.
- Have conversations* with 3 people that include making a request, asking a question, expressing doubt, approval, & positive emotional states all by using polite vocabulary, grammar, & syntax.
- Write a song* about happiness progress using adjectives denoting different intensity of this state.
- Use 10 metaphors, similes,comparisons (e.g. as happy as a king) and other stylistic devices* with a positive emotion word in them to describe a very successful day in the form of a speech with humorous effect.
- Using high vocabulary write 3 texts* of different genres (e.g. fictional or autobiographical narratives, short stories, responses to literature, persuasive compositions, etc. See Linguistics in the English molecule) focused on a happiness related topic.
- Study the semantics of English sounds, write a piece of literature or prepare a speech* based on sound combinations inducing happiness in your target audience – present it and analyze and quantify your results.
- Write a novel* based on high frequency vocabulary about pursuit and realization of happiness in somebody’s life.

HEALTH

| TEACHING HEALTH WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF HAPPINESS Diet, exercises, etc. that evoke happy feelings |
| Eating and Exercising Happily - Do “smiling gymnastics”* for your face.
- Observe happy people, imitate their body posture, mimicry, gestures, tone of v and report on your feelings to a mentor*.
- Ask people around what their top one happiness food item is and make a list* of top ten happiness foods; give reasons and explanations.
- Develop an individual yoga / tai chi / or similar type program* for a person to make their life happier (get rid of energy blocks, heal, improve the energy balance).
- Explore foods that stimulate endorphins production in human’s body and create a poster of the foods*.
- Work out a well-balanced nutritional plan considering hours and composition of meals to enhance an individual’s happiness and wellbeing and write a pamphlet of this*.
- Design & demonstrate* the effectiveness of a complete weekly “happiness program” incorporating positive hormone producing nutrition, daily emotional health practices, and specific exercises for specific happiness-inducing purposes. Create a brochure* for your program and free share it with others.

| Spiritual and Emotional Happiness - Boost somebody’s happiness by doing 5 good things for them (help / support, friendly talk, hugs / kisses, praise, gifts, etc.) and discuss* with them how they felt to receive.
- Start up a self-love / confidence diary* for making notes of your daily achievements, victories.
- Meditate on a perfect image of yourself (state of mind, attitude, health, etc.) and draw a picture* of what you see.
- Observe your physical and emotional state while sticking to the following routine, or one you choose that has similar actions, for 7 days: wake up before dawn, watch the sunrise, take a nap no more than 15 min during the day, go to bed at sunset; monitor your state of mind every two hours and record your feelings and sensations in a diary*; make a conclusion.
- Study the origin, meaning, and effect of mantras that suit you best, sing them with at least one other person and exchange your feelings and perceptions*.
- Study the concept of happiness in different spiritual traditions; choose the tradition (or traditions) that resonates with your understanding of happiness, or work out your system of beliefs as a summary of the best views and principles and practice it for this week; share your perception of what you’ve experienced in a blog on the internet*.
- Study the lives of people who reached enlightenment / utter happiness, choose 3 prominent figures, explore, compare/contrast, and describe in detail their different paths to achieving this in a videotaped presentation* to middle school age learners.

| Life Sciences: The Biology of Happiness - Think of animals and plants* you associate with happiness and explain why.
- Experiment on growing a plant* to inspirational music versus without any musical background and document results.
- Identify and name* all muscles a person uses when they smile and laugh.
- Observe and quantify* 7 measurable differences of separate experiences of happiness (friends together, people in love, people in a family circle, project partners, etc.).
- “Charge”* water by different types of music, observe the change in molecule structure under a microscope, choose the best music for harmonious growth of organisms based on your findings.
- Research and develop an experiment* to prove or disprove energy/aura/vibration changes within people experiencing 4 specific and different states of happiness.
- Identify* “happy bacteria” by studying the microbes & bacteria of the body & environment of a happy healthy person. Present your findings* to other scientists looking at this.

- Identify* “good” (from a human standpoint) liquids, hard substances, and gases and define their properties.
