Sai Sandeep is a Full Stack Developer with expertise across the MERN stack, TypeScript, and backend security protocols. He has a proven track record of refactoring complex codebases and building interactive, data-driven user interfaces that optimize the overall user experience. He thrives in fast-paced environments where he can transition between frontend visualization challenges and complex backend integration work. As a member of the One Community team, Sai has contributed to the Highest Good Network by implementing secure JWT authentication workflows, engineering backend student logging infrastructure, integrating dynamic charting systems for financial and volunteer metrics, delivering advanced tooltip features for doughnut charts, and building full-text search, pagination, and multi-tier date filtering systems alongside light and dark mode UI enhancements.

Valentina recently graduated from Las Positas College with a degree in graphic design and is focused on developing her skills in design and marketing. She is passionate about continuing to learn, expanding her horizons, and building a career that combines creativity with meaningful communication. Her interests include visual storytelling, branding, and creating designs that support clear and effective messaging. As a member of the One Community team, Valentina helps with design tasks, primarily creating images for volunteers and social media, as well as uploading biographies to the website. She is excited to keep growing professionally while contributing to projects that support the mission of One Community.

Our all-volunteer team is building a self-replicating framework that weaves together sustainable approaches to food, energy, housing, education, economics, and social architecture, all designed to evolve into a global network of teacher/demonstration hubs. One Community is facilitating a highest good living model through Highest Good housing that is artistic and beautiful, more affordable, more space efficient, lasts longer, DIY buildable, and constructed with healthy and sustainable materials:
This week, Devendranath Chowdary Maganti (Data Analyst) finalized the Highest Good Energy Rollout Tracker and completed the full set of visualizations for the webpage, including the rollout Gantt chart, timeline charts for each construction step, and corresponding duration-share donut charts. He integrated these visualizations into the webpage by drafting introductory text, captions, explanatory content, and source references before revising the page based on feedback to improve organization, consistency, and readability. Devendranath also continued supporting the Administration Team by reviewing onboarding blogs, providing feedback to new volunteers, assisting with training activities, and completing regular administrative tasks. His work contributes to facilitating a highest good living model by making complex sustainability information easier to understand and apply through well-organized open-source resources. Sagar Chavan (Transportation Engineer) continued working on sustainable infrastructure documentation for One Community. This week, he shifted focus to the roadway, parking lot, and stormwater management materials that support the broader Sustainable Roadways, Walkways, and Landscaping component. He examined plans, reports, and tutorial materials related to sustainable infrastructure, including drainage systems, stormwater collection methods, and roadway and parking lot design elements, to better understand the project requirements and available design information. Sagar organized the project information, identified areas requiring updates, and prepared notes to improve the clarity and usability of the open-source documentation. He also reviewed existing design documentation and technical requirements to support future project updates. His efforts support facilitating a highest good living model by strengthening the quality and usability of open-source guidance for sustainable transportation and water management systems. One Community is facilitating a highest good living model through a Duplicable and Sustainable City Center that is LEED Platinum certified/Sustainable, can feed 200 people at a time, provide laundry for over 300 people, is beautiful, spacious, and saves resources, money, and space:
This week, Bevan Chiu (Mechanical Engineer) continued his work finishing the City Center Eco-spa Designs. He worked on selecting an insulation sweet spot range of 18 to 21 inches, edited report content, began verifying team calculations, and integrated the initial flooring structure into the CAD assembly. For the insulation sweet spot, Bevan updated the graphs and revised the accompanying write-up to reflect the selected thickness range. He also edited the spa cover section to improve the organization of the content and checked the FEA boundary conditions for the spa cover components. As part of the calculation verification effort, Bevan checked each entry in the Heat Loss, Hot Tub Startup, and Water Head Loss calculators, documenting any calculation updates along with the supporting references for specific values. In addition, he integrated the spa tub flooring structure into the CAD assembly, checking component fit and overall integration between the flooring structure and the existing assembly. Shivarama Krishna Revanuru (Mechanical Engineer) continued working on the Duplicable City Center design. He focused on preparing the report write-up for the finite element analysis (FEA) of the spa cover by adding relevant images and incorporating edits suggested by JAE and team members. Team members’ report sections were proofread to identify and address gaps, improving consistency across the document. Work also included progressing on the FEA of the weight loading applied to Plate 2 and continuing analysis related to the FEA model. Nidish Reddy Koppula (Mechanical Engineer) continued working on the Duplicable City Center design. He worked on the hydraulic elevator assembly by assembling major components, checking tolerances, verifying mating alignment, and identifying parts that required modification for proper fit. He updated components that were not mating correctly and adjusted the assembly to improve alignment between the cab, guide rails, guide shoes, brackets, and lift shaft structure. Nidish also performed preliminary FEA on the guide shoes and guide rails to evaluate stress, deformation, and load response under selected guide loading conditions. After completing those component-level checks, he started the FEA setup and analysis process for the lift cab chassis to evaluate the structural response of the cab frame and hydraulic load path. Sri Vidya Sai Thumu (Mechanical Design Engineer) continued developing the City Center Eco-spa Designs. She worked on City Center Spa Tub flooring system in SOLIDWORKS by refining the floor panel assembly and aluminum structural frame. The work included researching aluminum rectangular hollow sections and weld-free connection methods, evaluating structural support concepts, and modifying the design to use vertical supports for transferring loads to the cinderblock walls while maintaining clearance for the drain and Rockwool insulation. The floor panel, perimeter frame, interior joists, and support members were updated, and the assembly was refined to improve the overall structural layout. Time was also spent learning the SOLIDWORKS Simulation workflow, researching FEA setup and boundary conditions, and preparing the model for structural analysis. One Community is facilitating a highest good living model through Highest Good food that is more diverse, more nutritious, locally grown and sustainable, and part of our open source botanical garden model to support and share bio-diversity:
This week, the core team continued working on the Master Tools, Equipment, and Materials/Supplies List for the Large-scale Garden, Botanical Garden, and other Highest Good Food components, focusing on the storage location for the EQSB to include fencing supplies, lumber, and cardboard, and respirators for the Earthbag Village project. They reviewed the goat information on the website and provided necessary corrections. Furthermore, the team researched the Amish method of wood preservation, specifically the application of pine tar, boiled linseed oil derived from flax, and turpentine. Current consideration is for constructing one fence from metal and the remaining from wood treated with these substances. Their efforts contribute to One Community’s mission of facilitating a highest good living model through open-source collaboration, ecologically responsible innovation, and a focus on long-term global development. Jay Nair (BIM Designer) continued working on the Aquapini and Walipini Planting and Harvesting documents. He worked on analyzing each zone in the greenhouse lighting energy calculator using the written step-by-step calculations to verify the equations and supporting data. The work focused on comparing calculator outputs against the manual calculation process, checking linked inputs, reviewing zone-specific values, and identifying inconsistencies in the formulas while refining the calculator for accuracy and future use. These updates improve the stability and adaptability of shared systems, supporting the broader goal of facilitating a highest good living model. Shameera Musthafa (Data Analyst) continued working on the Highest Good Food initiative, OC Administration, and the PR Review Team, coordinating review workflows and providing feedback to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across deliverables. She organized and categorized project images, created visual collages, and finalized blog-related content as part of PR review coordination, ensuring that both visual and written materials were properly curated and documented. She also contributed to the Highest Good Energy report pages, related visualizations, and managed the One Community Bluesky social media account, creating and publishing posts to help share project updates and increase outreach and engagement furthering One Community’s mission of facilitating a highest good living model.
In addition, Shameera supported the hiring process, interviewing and evaluating candidates. She also carried out end-to-end testing of the PR Review Team Admin Dashboard, validating key workflows, identifying issues, documenting results, and helping ensure the dashboard functioned as intended. This week, the core team continued contributing to the Highest Good Energy initiative. They completed the review of the Aircrete webpage, leaving comments about broken links, missing units, minor edits, and small content revisions. The team also communicated with the vermiculture eco-toilet team regarding force calculations and with the hot tub team regarding bather load. In addition, they completed the spreadsheet cost analysis for the hoop house infrastructure in step 2 of the food infrastructure rollout as part of facilitating a highest good living model. Rohan Pariakar (Operations and Supply Chain Analyst) continued working for the Highest Good Energy initiative, facilitating a highest good living model. He advanced the project’s renewable energy planning and infrastructure analysis by completing the Phase 4 energy demand model and standardizing phase-based energy calculations using validated operating-hour assumptions derived from the hourly load analysis. He updated phase summaries, generated comparative visualizations, and verified calculation consistency across the Energy Analysis workbook. Building on these results, he refined the solar sizing methodology by standardizing the project around 450 W First Solar Series 6 photovoltaic modules, validating the selected 1.6 MW system design, recalculating panel quantities, installation footprint, and expected energy generation, while correcting engineering units and improving workbook traceability.
Rohan also developed a phased solar deployment strategy aligned with community growth by allocating the final 1.6 MW system across the 3-10, 10-20, 20-50, and 50-100 population phases, updating procurement quantities, installed capacities, and cost estimates while ensuring consistency between the Energy Analysis, Solar Sizing, Master Planning, and Solar Infrastructure workbooks. Additionally, he implemented dynamic cross-workbook references, reconciled panel cost calculations with supplier pricing, resolved rounding and precision discrepancies, and strengthened the overall engineering workflow to support future infrastructure planning, procurement, and project documentation. One Community is facilitating a highest good living model through Highest Good education that is for all ages, applicable in any environment, adaptable to individual needs, far exceeds traditional education standards, and more fun for both the teachers and the students. This component of One Community is about 95% complete with only the Open Source School Licensing and Ultimate Classroom construction and assembly details remaining to be finished. With over 8 years of work invested in the process, the sections below are all complete until we move onto the property and continue the development and open sourcing process with teachers and students – a development process that is built directly into the structure of the education program and everything else we’re creating too:
This week, Jung Ah “Romey” Choi (Graphic Designer) continued contributing to the Ultimate Classroom outdoors book design, as part of facilitating a highest good living model. She completed the revisions and creation of additional ones for the Ultimate Classroom project. Romey updated and finalized a total of 81 files to improve the quality and completeness of the materials. Additionally, she completed the digital book conversion in the PubHTML5 format, uploaded the finalized version, and shared it with the manager. Isaiah “Isa” Hernandez (Graphic Designer) reformatted the Ultimate Classroom book and designed bios for Deepigha and Devendranath, as a part of facilitating a highest good living model. He also completed the first two web announcements for each bio. The work involved reformatting the book, learning the basics with coding One Community’s web announcements, preparing biography layouts, and developing announcement materials for use on the web. Navya Eeshani Boyapati (Web Designer) updated the Ultimate Classroom webpage by revising HTML formatting, correcting heading levels for the table of contents, adjusting image captions and alignment, and adding or fixing anchor links. She edited foundation-related content, updated SEO elements including image alt text and keywords, compared the webpage with the Google Doc instructions to ensure consistency, corrected formatting issues in WordPress, made revisions based on supervisor feedback, and prepared the page for additional updates. One Community is facilitating a highest good living model through a Highest Good society approach to living that is founded on fulfilled living, the study of meeting human needs, Community, and making a difference in the world:
This week, the core team completed over 37 hours managing volunteer work reviews, handling emails, overseeing social media accounts, supporting web development, and identifying and integrating bug fixes for the Highest Good Network. They also interviewed and onboarded new volunteer team members. Additionally, they produced and integrated the video above, which highlights facilitating a highest good living model and serves as a foundational element of One Community’s broader mission. Pooja Kulkarni (UI/UX Designer) continued working on the One Community Governance Portal, expanding and refining the experience across both public-display and personal-device formats. She designed a Live Governance TV dashboard to present real-time proposal activity, voting distribution, approaching deadlines, urgent items, participation levels, and the complete governance-stage flow in a format that is easy for the public to understand. She also created community outreach and calendar-management experiences that organize partner information, shared projects, contacts, announcements, governance meetings, resource availability, and booking options. In addition, Pooja refined the Total Organization Governance Summary by improving the information hierarchy, chart readability, spacing, color differentiation, KPI visibility, and proposal-outcome reporting across infrastructure, sustainability, health and wellness, education, and community outreach sections. Adhya Rastogi (Business Analyst) continued end-to-end testing of the Total Organization Summary Dashboard by rechecking previously tested components, verifying the status of reported issues after recent updates, performing additional validation of selected features, updating the testing records, and documenting components that required further verification. She maintained Reddit engagement by contributing comments across relevant communities, publishing a discussion post, and monitoring community responses to better understand engagement patterns and facilitating a highest good living model.
Adhya also optimized Google Ads campaigns by refining keyword targeting, adding relevant and negative keywords, updating ad copy, reviewing campaign performance, analyzing budget allocation and spending patterns, evaluating Google Ads recommendations, and studying upcoming bidding system changes to understand their potential impact on campaign optimization. Valentina Collini (Designer) continued reviewing and refining volunteer biographies and correcting website content for accuracy and consistency. This week, Leo reviewed the 17LeDCC and 20LeFOD team weekly summaries, prepared collages for the weekly blog, scheduled Facebook and Instagram posts through Meta Business Suite, and analyzed social media insights and tracking data. Mridul continued supporting One Community as a Senior Admin Mentor Member by scheduling Twitter/X posts, completing weekend analytics for Twitter/X and LinkedIn, and mentoring Sachit through Blog #695 by reviewing formatting, organization, clarity, and compliance with blog standards. These content management, analytics, and mentoring efforts contribute to facilitating a highest good living model.
Ola reviewed the Pinterest social media dashboard, updated weekly folders for the admin team, organized workspaces, responded to priority comments, updated scheduled posts, created and resized images, prepared published content, and uploaded the weekly summary report. Pranjul monitored volunteer time logs, corrected logging issues, updated activity records, scheduled Tumblr and Medium posts, gathered weekly team updates, and published the final WordPress blog. These administrative coordination and content management efforts contribute to facilitating a highest good living model.
Sachit restructured One Community’s funding matrix into a two-stage evaluation framework, created an Association Matrix for connector analysis, researched prospective funders, produced detailed evaluation briefs, corrected factual information, and applied the updated scoring system to compare organizational alignment and funding potential. Sai Sree organized PR review images, created collages, finalized PR Admin Team blog content, completed candidate interviews, recorded hiring feedback, performed frontend testing across multiple dashboard areas, documented UI observations, and reviewed Aadit’s training submissions. One Community is facilitating a highest good living model through open source Highest Good Network® software that is a web-based application for collaboration, time tracking, and objective data collection. The purpose of the Highest Good Network is to provide software for internal operations and external cooperation. It is being designed for global use in support of the different countries and communities replicating the One Community sustainable village models and related components.
This week, the core team continued testing pull requests on the main branch for the Highest Good Network. They confirmed that fixes were working as expected for 10 pull requests and identified that 8 pull requests were not fixed. The team also identified several pull requests that could not be tested because the required data was not available on the main branch. These included Application/Job Posting Page (PR #5238), Phase 6 – Kitchen Inventory Management – Implement Search Functionality for Inventory Page (PR #5318), Listing and Bidding Platform – Implement Frontend User Management Section with Static Mock Data (PR #5328), Add Labor Cost Variance & Budget Benchmarking (PR #5260), Fix “Expand All” Functionality on Lesson List Page (PR #4528), Fix Paid Labor Cost Filters Visibility in Dark Mode (PR #4683), and Fix “Issue” Option in Dropdown Not Functioning (PR #4385). This week, Casstiel verified the deployment of frontend usability features for the Weekly Project Summary interface, including project and week labels, section controls, dynamic badge structures, empty-state UI handling, and loading state feedback. Upon identifying necessary backend dependencies for comparison datasets, badge counts, and filtering logic, he created a dedicated repository branch to construct the /issue/breakdown endpoint. He concluded the sprint by validating data delivery payloads directly feeding the Issues Breakdown visualization chart contributing to One Community’s mission of facilitating a highest good living model.
Handika updated pull requests #5002 and #4998 to introduce full dark mode compatibility across the analytics dashboard layout. He engineered direct click handlers to bind filter criteria to the Apply component, restructured tooltip rendering states, and synchronized quick-select operations with custom calendar date inputs. Additionally, he integrated react-select architectures to replace legacy comparison filters, repaired layout typography alignment faults, and refined cross-theme CSS styling rules. Maithili deployed an ngrok local tunneling infrastructure to provision secure sandboxed testing conditions for social media automation integrations. Finally, she isolated lingering state errors tied to Task 1191, evaluating data mutations within profile hour updates to isolate the source of erroneous calculations. Mahitha worked on the server date protection feature for time logging and weekly summaries by finalizing backend and frontend implementations, submitting pull requests #2271 and #5390, implementing server-side date validation, and updating frontend validation to use server date values instead of local system dates. He also fixed PR 4738 by restoring lost time form rendering on the Reports page, improving dark mode readability, correcting backend issues that caused 404 errors when saving project or team lost time entries, resolving cache-related delays, and submitting the backend fixes in PR 2276. Mahathi worked on the frontend admin workflow for Production Identity Validation by adding production identity verification during user creation, auto-filling and locking verified user information, making identity fields read-only during edits, adding a Production Auto-Deactivated filter in User Management, fixing email case-sensitivity issues through normalized email handling, and improving local validation and error handling. Rithika worked on paired frontend and backend pull requests for the BM Dashboard by fixing incorrect backend responses for invalid project IDs, extracting shared utility functions to reduce duplicate code, improving chart sizing and responsive layouts, confirming date-filter behavior through database validation, resolving dependency and test issues after rebasing, reducing SonarQube issues through code cleanup, and documenting a new task for Attendance and No-Show Tracking. Sireesha resolved merge conflicts and build failures across pull requests 4272, 4367, 4489, and 3933 by fixing dark mode styling issues, addressing SonarCloud quality gate failures and code smells, correcting UI contrast problems in the Weekly Project Summary, fixing an application crash in User Management, and updating the loading state interface. Facilitating a highest good living model is a service commitment of the Highest Good Network software which is accomplished by objectively tracking and managing progress across social architecture, construction, production and maintenance processes, utilizing transparent, scalable systems that strengthen accountability, coordination and resilient ecosystems.
This week, Jaden worked on PR #3517 by implementing dark mode support across the BadgeDevelopment component. He moved inline styles into a dedicated CSS module, updated styling to use the project’s standard dark mode utility, reduced SonarQube cognitive complexity to meet quality gate requirements by extracting helper functions and precomputing derived values, separated filter logic into module-level functions, and styled the filter interface using Bootstrap utility classes with CSS Modules while maintaining accessibility standards. For PR #3631, he determined that Netlify deployment failures were caused by unresolved merge conflicts rather than code issues, resolved the conflicts by merging the latest development branch, reverted unnecessary import changes, and restored the branch to its intended minimal scope. Both pull requests were finished with passing SonarQube quality gates and CI checks thereby furthering One Community’s mission of facilitating a highest good living model.
Purav worked on the backend Interactive Map feature by troubleshooting a startup dependency issue, reviewing the related routes and implementation, and examining pull request history and reviewer feedback. He reviewed PR #1342 and PR #1810, pushed the latest modifications, resolved merge conflicts while preserving the appropriate development implementation, removed obsolete files, and verified that the branch contained all current development commits and remained aligned with the latest codebase. Purav also created PR #2272 to merge the feature branch with the latest development changes, furthering One Community’s mission of facilitating a highest good living model.
Nirali worked on fixing failing tests for PR #5230 in the HighestGoodNetworkApp. She investigated the test failures, implemented the necessary fixes, verified the changes to improve test stability and ensure the pull request functioned as expected, and reviewed project documentation while exploring available tasks in preparation for her next assignment. Swathi worked on the Job Form Builder creation page by making it accessible to all users instead of only the owner. She also implemented functionality for the Go button click, submitted the completed changes, and continued working on the remaining Go button functionality that has not yet been submitted. These updates support facilitating a highest good living model by improving platform functionality, code quality and the reliability of collaborative tools within the Highest Good Network.
Anthony continued work on PR #5340 by reviewing feedback, making the requested code changes, addressing a Sonar issue, resolving reviewer comments, and removing an unnecessary line of code before pushing multiple follow-up commits. He communicated with a reviewer to discuss additional improvements, performed testing after each round of changes to verify the fixes, and created an update video for the stakeholder to gather feedback before proceeding with a new PR. Anthony continued investigating a logout issue affecting the wrong user, tested a potential fix and acknowledged a bug found during a follow‑up review thus contributing to One Community’s mission of facilitating a highest good living model. One Community is creating open source sustainability solutions through Highest Good housing that is artistic and beautiful, more affordable, more space efficient, lasts longer, DIY buildable, and constructed with healthy and sustainable materials:
This week, Chanikya Sita (Volunteer Civil/Transportation Engineer) continued improving the Sustainable Roadways, Walkways, and Landscaping and Sustainable Parking Lot Construction Guide pages. He worked on two documents based on supervisor feedback. For the Land Purchasing and Transportation Infrastructure Due Diligence document, updates included revising section titles to make them more specific, correcting heading styles, adding introductory paragraphs between headings and tables, replacing em dashes with standard hyphens, converting inline bullet characters into properly formatted bulleted lists, reformatting the References section to match One Community standards with 19 numbered entries, adding titles for all seven tables, and writing a detailed summary covering all nine sections of the document contributing to One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions.
For the Sustainable Roadways and Parking Lot Adaptation Guide, updates included revising the Village Layout Repositioning section to clarify that the village orientation remains fixed, updating the Size Check section with the accurate Earthbag Village footprint of 1.59 acres (69,140 square feet) based on GIS analysis, and adding a passive solar orientation bullet point to the Orientation Rules section. This work supports creating open source sustainability solutions by improving the quality, clarity, and usability of guidance for sustainable transportation infrastructure. Devendranath Chowdary Maganti (Data Analyst) continued working on the aircrete project by updating the webpage with the latest documentation, content revisions, and project improvements to ensure it reflected the current version of the report. He completed the final visualizations for the Highest Good Energy Construction Timeline Data Analysis Dashboard, refining charts and data presentation to improve clarity and usability. Devendranath also supported the Administration Team by reviewing onboarding blogs, providing feedback to new volunteers, assisting with training activities, and completing regular administrative tasks related to the team’s weekly workflow. His efforts contribute to creating open source sustainability solutions by making project information more accessible while strengthening collaboration and volunteer training. Gaurang Pawar (Architectural Designer) focused his work this week on the tropical atrium plans. He used AutoCAD to develop the building’s circulation and envelope layouts by drafting plan views and cross-sections for the rear entrance staircase and roof details. He focused on detailing the foundation footings, stringer connections, railing-to-slab connections, railing details, and flashing before reviewing the drawings to correct discrepancies across the plans, sections, and elevations. This work contributes to creating open source sustainability solutions by developing accurate and replicable architectural documentation for sustainable construction projects. One Community is creating open source sustainability solutions through a Duplicable and Sustainable City Center that is LEED Platinum certified/Sustainable, can feed 200 people at a time, provide laundry for over 300 people, is beautiful, spacious, and saves resources, money, and space:
This week, Bevan Chiu (Mechanical Engineer) continued his work finishing the City Center Eco-spa Designs. He worked on editing the FAQ section of the report, the insulation sweet spot analysis, and the spa test tracker for the remaining tasks. He reorganized relevant content into the FAQ section and added references to the corresponding FAQ entries. He also wrote questions and answers covering the tub foundation, plumbing panel materials, insulation sweet spot considerations, and plumbing equipment furthering One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions.
Additional report updates included standardizing the format of calculation tables, adding the sustainability suggestion button to each major section, and checking the bill of materials with the associated PDF documents. For the insulation sweet spot analysis, he revised the report content, updated the cost calculations, and incorporated the cost analysis results into the report. He also updated the spa test tracker by organizing the remaining tasks and adding a checklist of calculations to verify. Shivarama Krishna Revanuru (Mechanical Engineer) continued working on the Duplicable City Center design. He focused on writing the report section for the finite element analysis (FEA) of the spa cover and incorporating edits suggested by JAE and team members. Team members’ report sections were proofread to identify gaps, improve consistency, and ensure that missing information was addressed where needed. Efforts also included working on the finite element analysis of the weight loading on Plate 2, including analysis setup and evaluation of the FEA model. Nidish Reddy Koppula (Mechanical Engineer) continued working on the Duplicable City Center design. He worked on the elevator guide rail, cab, lift shaft, and guide rail mounting systems for the hydraulic elevator assembly. He developed the guide rail subsystem using a T89/B rail profile, defined rail segmentation, added backside fishplate assumptions, and completed preliminary rail bending and deflection calculations for different bracket spacing cases. He also researched guide shoe options and designed sliding guide shoe assemblies for the T89/B guide rail interface after reducing the rail-to-cab gap furthering One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions.
Additionally, Nidish modeled an updated elevator cab structure with structural members intended to support the hydraulic load path, guide shoe mounting locations, and assembly fit checks. He reviewed the lift shaft structure, performed preliminary structural calculations, and determined that the shaft frame required additional structural capacity to support the elevator assembly as a standalone structure. Based on the updated load computations, he modeled the complete lift shaft structure and revised the shaft layout to better support the cab, guide rails, and hydraulic elevator components. He also designed a guide rail bracket/clamp concept to mount the guide rails to the lift shaft, verified key model dimensions, checked alignment between the shaft, guide rails, cab, and guide shoes, and completed weekly report and documentation work. Sri Vidya Sai Thumu (Mechanical Design Engineer) continued developing the City Center Eco-spa Designs. She worked on the City Center Spa Tub Flooring project by researching hot tub flooring construction methods, aluminum structural framing systems, corrosion-resistant materials, and non-welded assembly techniques. A structural support frame was modeled in SOLIDWORKS 2025 using rectangular hollow aluminum joists, including two long joists, six short joists, and a floor panel with an integrated drain opening. The joist layout was evaluated to accommodate the plumbing system and insulation while maintaining compatibility with the existing cinderblock layout. An aluminum L-angle bracket was designed for bolted connections between the joists, and different bracket dimensions and placement options were assessed for representative frame joints. These efforts support creating open source sustainability solutions by enhancing clarity and accessibility.
Additional work included reviewing the City Center Hot Tub Design documentation, researching practical construction methods, resolving SOLIDWORKS assembly and version compatibility issues, and preparing the structural support assembly for future finite element analysis (FEA) and design validation. This week, the core team continued working on the Master Tools, Equipment, and Materials/Supplies List for the Large-scale Garden, Botanical Garden, and other Highest Good Food components. This week we finalized the review of the Master Tools, Equipment, Materials/Supplies documentation and transferred the information to another Pioneer for further review and commentary. We also completed the review of the Goat Fencing documentation, which includes a series of instructional videos by Pete B. that detail the materials and step-by-step procedures required for constructing secure goat fencing. Their efforts contribute to One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions through open source collaboration, ecologically responsible innovation, and a focus on long-term global development. Jay Nair (BIM Designer) continued working on the Aquapini and Walipini Planting and Harvesting documents. He worked on analyzing each zone individually within the greenhouse lighting energy calculator to verify the equations, linked inputs, and supporting data used in the calculations. The work focused on checking zone-specific values, identifying inconsistencies, and reviewing how plant requirements, fixture information, geometry, and operating assumptions affect the results while the calculator continues to be refined. These updates improve the stability and adaptability of shared systems, supporting the broader goal of the creating open source sustainability solutions. Shameera Musthafa (Data Analyst) continued working on the Highest Good Food initiative, OC Administration, and the PR Review Team, coordinating review workflows and providing feedback to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across deliverables. She organized and categorized project images, created visual collages, and finalized blog-related content, ensuring visual and written materials were properly curated in support of One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions.
Shameera also contributed to the Highest Good Energy report pages and related visualizations, managed the One Community Bluesky account by publishing posts to boost outreach and engagement, supported hiring by conducting interviews and evaluating candidates, and carried out end-to-end testing of the PR Review Team Admin Dashboard, validating workflows, identifying issues, and documenting results as part of creating open source sustainability solutions. This week, the core team continued contributing to the Highest Good Energy initiative. They updated the expected operating time of the jets in the hot tub spreadsheet and revised the related hot tub energy document to reflect those changes. The team reviewed the vermiculture eco-toilet document and identified an issue with the calculation of the frictional force on the plate at the base. They also provided feedback through document comments and a video explaining the issue and describing the necessary corrections. They also began reviewing the Aircrete testing webpage and left comments where revisions are needed as part of creating open source sustainability solutions. Rohan Pariakar (Operations and Supply Chain Analyst) continued working for the Highest Good Energy initiative, creating open source sustainability solutions. Rohan expanded and standardized the community energy analysis framework by completing the Phase 3 and Phase 4 energy demand models using a Power × Operating Hours methodology derived from validated hourly load profiles, replacing generalized scaling assumptions with traceable equipment-level calculations. He reconciled energy consumption across project phases by updating summary tables, validating cross-sheet formulas, refining lookup-based calculation logic, and generating comparative visualizations to improve interpretation of phase-specific energy demand.
In parallel, he refined the project’s solar sizing methodology by standardizing the use of 450 W First Solar Series 6 photovoltaic modules, validating the project’s selected 1.6 MW installed capacity, recalculating panel quantities, installation footprint, expected daily energy generation, and module cost assumptions, while identifying inconsistencies between legacy phased solar infrastructure models and the updated engineering design. Additionally, Rohan strengthened workbook architecture by improving data flow between the Hourly Breakdown, Energy Analysis, Solar Sizing, and project summary sheets, reducing manual inputs, improving calculation traceability, and creating a more maintainable engineering model to support future energy planning, infrastructure sizing, and procurement activities. One Community is creating open source sustainability solutions through Highest Good education that is for all ages, applicable in any environment, adaptable to individual needs, far exceeds traditional education standards, and more fun for both the teachers and the students. This component of One Community is about 95% complete with only the Open Source School Licensing and Ultimate Classroom construction and assembly details remaining to be finished. We’ll report on the final two elements to be finished as we develop them.
With over 8 years of work invested in the process, the sections below are all complete until we move onto the property and continue the development and open sourcing process with teachers and students – a development process that is built directly into the structure of the education program and everything else we’re creating too:
Jung Ah “Romey” Choi (Graphic Designer) continued contributing to The Ultimate Classroom outdoors book design, as part of creating open source sustainability solutions. Her work focused on producing more than 40 photo layout variations using the 4px, 8px, and 12px spacing guidelines. Each template was prepared in both JPG and PSD formats to ensure consistency, scalability, and compatibility with the publishing workflow. The iterative process helped improve the overall visual quality and establish a more flexible template library for future content development, supporting the creation of accessible and reusable resources for the One Community initiative. One Community is creating open source sustainability solutions through a Highest Good society approach to living that is founded on fulfilled living, the study of meeting human needs, Community, and making a difference in the world:
This week, the core team completed over 39 hours managing volunteer work reviews, handling emails, overseeing social media accounts, supporting web development, and identifying and integrating bug fixes for the Highest Good Network. They also interviewed and onboarded new volunteer team members. Additionally, they produced and integrated the video above, which highlights creating open source sustainability solutions and serves as a foundational element of One Community’s broader mission. Pooja Kulkarni (UI/UX Designer) worked on refining the One Community Global governance dashboard experience by designing and improving key screens for member orientation, home dashboard, proposal overview, and active voting. She focused on making the governance workflow easier to understand by showing proposal stages, group roles, pending votes, urgent actions, participation rates, community pulse, upcoming meetings, and recent decisions in a clearer visual structure. Pooja also developed the detailed proposal voting screen for the Solar Array Expansion Phase 3 proposal, including the approval stage, proposal text, documentation log, approval group members, voting options, live tally, consensus threshold, and archive access. These updates support creating open source sustainability solutions across teams and disciplines.
In addition, she improved the onboarding/orientation flow by explaining how Discussion Groups, Focus Groups, Approval Groups, Administrative Groups, and participation levels work so new members can understand their responsibilities before participating. Pooja continued refining dashboard layouts, public display concepts, hierarchy, spacing, status labels, and interaction patterns to support transparency, decision-making, and easier navigation across the platform, supporting One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions by making collaborative governance more accessible, transparent, and effective. Adhya Rastogi (Business Analyst) continued Reddit engagement by contributing comments across relevant communities, publishing a discussion post, researching the process of creating and managing a dedicated Reddit community for the One Community account, exploring sustainability-related communities, and identifying opportunities for future discussion topics to support organic audience growth. She optimized Google Ads for multiple webpages by updating headlines, descriptions, targeted keywords, and negative keywords while reviewing campaign performance to evaluate the impact of recent optimizations and identify areas for improvement. Adhya also completed end-to-end testing of the Total Organization Summary Dashboard by validating component functionality, updating the dashboard analysis spreadsheet, expanding the Root Cause Matrix with dependency mapping, reviewing the status of previously reported bugs, and sharing testing observations with Jae contributing to One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions.
In addition, she implemented approved SEO updates for the Overview page in WordPress, recorded baseline analytics, reviewed Rank Math guidance, and updated the SEO tracking spreadsheet with implementation details and optimization progress. Valentina Collini (Designer) contributed to the One Community website by creating new biography images and announcement images for incoming volunteers. She also updated the website with information for new team members, ensuring that profiles and related content were properly integrated into the site. In addition, Valentina reviewed existing website content and corrected errors where needed, helping maintain the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of the website. She also created new images for social media. Mridul supported One Community as a Senior Admin Mentor Member by standardizing Claude prompts for weekly blog creation and social media content generation, scheduling LinkedIn and Twitter/X posts, completing weekend analytics, and mentoring Udayan through Blog #694 review and recommendations. These content management, analytics, and mentoring activities contribute to creating open source sustainability solutions.
Ola optimized admin and PR team workspaces, created a structured folder system for documentation, reviewed Pinterest analytics data, and monitored weekly scheduling activities to support organized content management. Pranjul managed volunteer time logs, identified logging errors, guided corrections, updated system records, scheduled Tumblr and Medium updates, gathered team project updates, and published WordPress blogs for multiple teams. Sachit developed a funder scoring matrix with updated evaluation criteria, weighting structures, and research frameworks for prospective One Community funders. He reviewed organizational information, business plans, operations, funding strategies, and financial details from an investor and funder perspective, completed revisions to his orientation blog, reviewed collaborator feedback, and provided corrections on team submissions. Sai Sree organized PR review images, created collages, finalized PR Admin Team blog content, completed candidate interviews, recorded feedback, and performed frontend testing to verify styling, tooltips, dropdown behavior, typography, filters, and light and dark mode consistency. One Community is creating open source sustainability solutions through open source Highest Good Network® software that is a web-based application for collaboration, time tracking, and objective data collection. The purpose of the Highest Good Network is to provide software for internal operations and external cooperation. It is being designed for global use in support of the different countries and communities replicating the One Community sustainable village models and related components.
This week, the core team continued testing Highest Good Network pull requests on the Main branch and confirmed that 13 pull requests were fixed and 11 were not fixed. They were also unable to test several pull requests because the required data was not available on the Main branch. These included Update Project Risk Graph Layout to Match Expected Visual Format (PR 4771), Enable Hover-Triggered Chart Display for “Tools and Equipment Tracking” Section (PR 4753), Finish PR 4792 – Add Historical Trend & Risk Movement Tracking to Project Risk Profile (PR 5184), Phase 2 Bugs: Fix 4301 – Fix Calendar Dark Mode and Issue Chart Visibility (PR 4653), and Add Side-by-Side Comparison Mode for Actual vs. Planned Expenditure Charts (PR 4898 and PR 2073). This week, Casstiel reviewed the Weekly Project Summary implementation by examining the frontend filter flow, Redux state, chart components, and backend routes to confirm that frontend usability features were fully in place. He identified missing backend support for issue breakdown, comparison data, badge counts, and project and date filtering, allowing him to plan the required backend updates across routes, controllers, models, and data sources furthering One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions.
Handika updated inventory management by correcting API endpoint naming, connecting deletion controllers, adding edit endpoints, improving error handling, and verifying delete functionality across inventory types. He also added confirmation dialogs, fixed frontend update behavior after failed edits, and enhanced the experience donut chart with updated date pickers, multi-select role filtering, a responsive layout, and light and dark mode styling. Maithili completed the Pinterest Auto Poster feature by reducing component complexity, replacing Math.random() with crypto.randomUUID(), and resolving SonarCloud and CSS lint issues. Divya focused on the PR Review Team Analytics Dashboard follow-up task to resolve missing pull request color coding within the promotion confirmation modal. Her investigation involved analyzing the component’s interface behavior across light and dark modes, confirming that the PR-specific color indicators failed to display as expected. After identifying the affected UI components and documenting these visual anomalies, she analyzed the existing implementation to map out the exact styling updates required, maintaining close coordination with related active tasks to prepare the foundation for final validation. Mahitha engineered a server-side date validation feature, picking up and completing the implementation for an abandoned pull request tied to frontend issue #4312. To resolve a vulnerability where modifying local system clocks allowed users to log time for incorrect dates, she deployed a backend endpoint that serves the true server date and time. She then refactored the frontend validation architecture to intercept time-entry requests, forcing the system to validate entries against this server time payload to block unauthorized future or past logging. To conclude the task, Mahitha isolated her contributions into separate version control environments, pushing individual commits to the dedicated backend and frontend development branches to assist in creating open source sustainability solutions.
Manoj completed development on a task hiding team members’ tasks when the “See All” toggle is deactivated, raising PR #5381 and PR #2269. He then shifted focus to resolving complex merge conflicts within the BMDashboard pull request caused by overlapping edits to shared files, discovering and restoring a critical dark mode variable dropped by a prior resolution. Roshini completed PR #5236 to optimize the Blue Square Stats donut chart UI. She removed zero-value categories from the default view, enabled dynamic structural updates as soon as fresh metrics become available, repositioned crowded text labels to maximize data visibility, and integrated precise hover behaviors for easier chart interaction. Additionally, she drove debugging efforts surrounding the Teams and Blue Squares dashboard analytics data layer, methodically tracing faulty weekly and custom date-range formulas that caused inconsistent reporting counts across administrative views. Sireesha also reviewed PR #4999 and found no code changes were needed, rebased and pushed PR #1911 for attendance and no show tracking, flagged a missing attendance-marking option on the log attendance page to Jae, and continued work on PR #1941 for event popularity analytics visualization after resolving several frontend conflicts. Abhishek worked across HGN app frontend and HGN rest backend PRs. He also worked on a shared QA tracking document. This week, Jaden worked on multiple pull requests for the Highest Good Network codebase. He completed PR #3854 by adding a Spinner component with a flex-wrapped loading message and updated the corresponding test, then tackled PR #3661, adding a “No user is found” message to the Badge Management page, resolving a Node.js environment mismatch, and simplifying conditional logic to address SonarQube complexity issues. Jaden also completed PR #3928 by updating the empty state rendering and adding the required handler and prop, furthering One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions. Additionally, he fixed a null reference issue in EditBadgePopup through PR #3631, updating the badge filter to handle missing image URLs.
Purav worked on Frontend PR #5382 for the Work Breakdown Structure navigation hotfix. He resolved inconsistent navigation from the User Profile Projects tab by normalizing project identifiers, updating Work Breakdown Structure links to use the correct project ID, and applying the same identifier handling to task filtering, row keys, and delete actions. He also normalized project data during assignment and profile loading so newly assigned projects open the correct Work Breakdown Structure page with the associated project information. Purav also resolved approximately 188 SonarQube issues by incorporating fixes from the development branch and addressing code quality, maintainability, styling, and linting findings furthering One Community’s mission of creating open source sustainability solutions.
Additionally, he performed regression testing to verify that project assignment, Work Breakdown Structure navigation, task filtering, delete actions, and related user profile workflows continued to function correctly after the changes. These updates help creating open source sustainability solutions by improving platform functionality, code quality and the reliability of collaborative tools within the Highest Good Network.
Swathi completed the Special Action Item for the Referral Link Requirement Program task after resolving merge conflicts and yarn-related issues. She added toast messages where required, tested the changes, and pushed the completed code. After finishing the task, she began work on another task related to the same form builder by reviewing the requirements and starting the implementation. This week, Ayub Muhammad (Designer) updated the text and precise measurements within the designated boxes to ensure data accuracy for the 7 Sustainable Villag overview book. Additionally, he integrated correctly sized images into the layout to improve visual consistency and presentation. These updates enhanced the clarity of the documentation, ensuring that all specifications are accurate, easy to understand, and ready for the next phase of development. Devendranath Chowdary Maganti (Data Analyst) updated the Aircrete documentation by converting the complete report into a webpage and incorporating the latest content, revisions, and project updates to improve readability and organization. He ensured that the webpage reflected the current version of the documentation and made formatting adjustments to present the information clearly for online use. Devendranath also reviewed practice blogs submitted by fellow team members as part of the training process, provided feedback to help align their work with project guidelines, and supported the onboarding process by addressing review comments and answering questions related to the training tasks. His efforts support global game-changing collaboratives by making project knowledge more accessible while strengthening collaboration and volunteer training. Sagar Chavan (Transportation Engineer) continued working on the Net-zero Bathroom and Earthbag Village Water Collection and Septic Design edited content. He reviewed the project instructions, source document, and related One Community reference pages to better understand the required editing, formatting, and website publishing expectations. Sagar reviewed and improved the report draft by correcting report issues, refining unclear sections, improving wording, and enhancing the overall organization and readability. He also reviewed the color-coding legend to determine which content needed to be preserved, rewritten, removed, or newly added. In addition, Sagar reviewed related Water Collection, Septic Design, Greywater, and Sustainable Roadways and Walkways reference pages to ensure that the edited report remained consistent with the overall One Community design approach. This work supports global game-changing collaboratives by improving the clarity, consistency, and accessibility of open-source sustainable water infrastructure documentation and moving the report closer to publication. This week, Bevan Chiu (Mechanical Engineer) continued his work finishing the City Center Eco-spa Designs. He worked on the Natural Pool and Spa report based on team feedback. He simplified the table of contents, added mini tables of contents to each report section, converted equation images into written equations, updated the color coding of each calculator, and corrected report links. He reviewed the available project materials, including research notes, cost analysis/BOM, handoff documentation, and elevator assembly files, then set up a clean working assembly from the available SolidWorks components so the assigned missing parts could be placed and checked in the current CAD environment. He used baseline components, including the shaft frame, elevator cabin frame, guide rails, base plate, landing frame, and door frame, while documenting interfaces that may require clarification before later FEA work, furthering One Community’s mission of global game-changing collaboratives.
Nidish also documented that the current model is being treated as a concept-level CAD/FEA assembly, with hydraulic jack details, cab-to-guide-rail interfaces, and final load paths requiring additional design guidance. Sri Vidya Sai Thumu (Mechanical Design Engineer) continued developing the City Center Eco-spa Designs. She reviewed and edited the City Center Hot Tub Design document, focusing on the plumbing access panel, structural FEA, custom cover, and flooring sections. Grammar and formatting were corrected, and comments were added to improve clarity, documentation, calculations, visual presentation, and DIY replicability. Work also continued on the spa tub flooring design in SOLIDWORKS 2025 by recreating the structural model because the original assembly was incompatible with the available software version. The floor panel was created, aluminum joists were modeled as separate parts, and the structural support frame was assembled using two long joists and six short joists. Project requirements for a non-welded, corrosion-resistant aluminum framing system were reviewed, and coordination with the project lead was completed to obtain a STEP file for continuing the design. Nirali worked on PR #3374 related to the Bell Notification for Meetings feature by setting up, reviewing, and testing the existing implementation to understand its current functionality and identify issues before continuing development. During this work, she encountered multiple project-level errors that prevented the application from starting properly in the local development environment, making full testing of the feature impossible. Additionally, Nirali investigated the existing codebase, reviewed the meeting notification implementation, analyzed the startup errors to determine potential root causes and identified technical issues that must be resolved before further testing and development can continue. These updates drive global game-changing collaboratives by improving platform functionality, code quality and the reliability of collaborative tools within the Highest Good Network.
Radia focused on development tasks and bug fixes for PR #5016 involving the loss tracking line graph. She resolved a high-priority calendar issue by replacing the faulty native month input with a standard date picker and updated the filtering logic to correctly parse custom date ranges so the graph responds accurately to user-selected dates. She also restored the custom SVG calendar icons, improved input click accessibility, and fixed multiple Stylelint issues to ensure all Husky pre-commit hooks and automated tests passed successfully. To complete the work, Radia created a new pull request containing the isolated fixes and attached screenshot and video evidence confirming the functionality works correctly in both light and dark modes. This progress helps developing global game-changing collaboratives through small impactful actions leading to larger, lasting changes in ecosystems and social systems.
Purav worked on Frontend PR #3946 and Backend PR #1677 for the Meeting Bell Notification and Schedule Meeting feature. He implemented the meeting scheduling workflow, integrated unread meeting notifications into the application header, and developed a notification modal supporting meeting details, calendar invites, organizer information, timezone-aware displays, audio unlock handling, and navigation across multiple unread notifications. Additionally, Purav updated the Schedule Meeting page with dark mode support, improved confirmation and success modals, fixed TinyMCE notes behavior, and refined participant selection, layout handling, dropdowns, scrollbars, dismiss controls, and header rendering. He also migrated components to CSS modules, resolved SonarQube, ESLint, Stylelint, and pre-push hook issues, connected the frontend with the local backend, and prepared reviewer documentation with backend setup instructions and end-to-end testing steps for the meeting scheduling and notification workflow. This week, Chanikya Sita (Volunteer Civil/Transportation Engineer) continued working on applying supervisor feedback to the Sustainable Roads and Parking Lot Adaptation Guide. Updates included revising the heading structure throughout the document, rewriting section titles to make them more specific, adding introductory paragraphs between all headings and subheadings, revising the Village Layout Repositioning section to clarify that the village orientation remains fixed while only its position changes at the new site, updating the Size Check section with the accurate Earthbag Village footprint of 1.59 acres (69,140 square feet) based on GIS analysis, adding a passive solar orientation bullet point to the Orientation Rules section. This work helps in transforming the global sustainability discussion across multiple project areas.
Chanikya also worked on replacing all em dashes with standard hyphens, converting inline bullet characters into properly formatted bulleted lists, reformatting the References section to match One Community standards, and preparing placement instructions for the web designer to integrate the content into the Sustainable Roadways and Walkways webpage. This work contributes to transforming the global sustainability discussion by creating clear, standardized guidance for replicable sustainable infrastructure planning. Devendranath Chowdary Maganti (Administrative Assistant) continued working on the Highest Good Network Tracker by incorporating feedback from Jae and updating the initial draft to create a more user-friendly, investor-ready presentation. He refined the layout, added new features, and revised existing content to improve the clarity and organization of the tracker. Devendranath also reviewed training work submitted by new team members, provided feedback on their practice blogs to help them meet project requirements, and supported the onboarding process by addressing reviewer comments and questions. In addition, he assisted with Administration Team tasks and other administrative responsibilities as needed. His work supports transforming the global sustainability discussion by improving collaboration tools and making project information more accessible and actionable. Rishi Chakrapani (Mechanical Engineer) continued working on the Vermiculture Toilet. He updated the Bill of Materials for the Vermiculture Separator Removal Platform report to reflect the latest design and component information. Additional content was added to both the Removal Platform report and the Sensor Selection report based on Jae’s feedback, with revisions made to improve the technical documentation and supporting explanations. Rishi also proofread the Removal Platform report to identify and correct errors before submitting it for review. His efforts contribute to transforming the global sustainability discussion by strengthening the quality and accessibility of open-source engineering documentation. Sagar Chavan (Transportation Engineer) continued working on the Earthbag Village stormwater management and rainwater harvesting documentation by reviewing the stormwater management plan, pipe layout, catch basin locations, greywater pond connections, and related drainage flow information. He reviewed the existing runoff calculation sheet and noted that one section was based on rectangular drain channel dimensions, while the Earthbag Village design uses round storm drains and subsurface perforated pipes, making that portion less directly applicable to the current design. Sagar also reviewed the Net-Zero Bathroom requirements and features to better understand how rainfall, rainwater catchment, storage, and water-saving fixtures support the overall village water system. He connected the calculation notes, site drainage layout, pipe network details, and bathroom water-use information to the LEED stormwater management tutorial and cost analysis documentation. His work supports transforming the global sustainability discussion by advancing practical knowledge of integrated water management and resilient community infrastructure. One Community is transforming the global sustainability discussion through a Duplicable and Sustainable City Center that is LEED Platinum certified/Sustainable, can feed 200 people at a time, provide laundry for over 300 people, is beautiful, spacious, and saves resources, money, and space:
This week, Bevan Chiu (Mechanical Engineer) continued his work finishing the City Center Eco-spa Designs. He worked on the insulation sweet spot analysis and final report for the website. He refined the heat loss and operating cost calculations to evaluate insulation thicknesses up to 50 inches. He also completed a cost analysis and updated the cost breakdown graph to include one-year, five-year, and ten-year total costs for both insulation and operating energy, providing additional information to support selection of the insulation sweet spot. For the final report, Bevan revised the transitions and content in the Energy Requirement Calculation section to align with the current calculation methods. He also began incorporating the insulation sweet spot rationale and increased the emphasis on the insulated spa cover within the Thermal Simulation Conclusion. Shivarama Krishna Revanuru (Mechanical Engineer) continued working on the Duplicable City Center design. He focused on writing the report and preparing the section on the finite element analysis (FEA) of the spa cover. Team members’ report sections were proofread to identify and address any missing information or gaps in the content. Initial work also began on evaluating the heat loss capacity of the spa cover, including the development of the related analysis and supporting calculations. This week, the core team continued working on the Master Tools, Equipment, and Materials/Supplies List for the Large-scale Garden, Botanical Garden, and other Highest Good Food components, focusing on electrical, gardening, composting, and fencing project entities. They included the acronyms GSI, EQSB, ASHP, MSHP, and WSHP wherever it was appropriate. This work applied primarily to the GSI and WSHP documents, where many of the entities will be stored before being assigned to specific One Community projects. Their efforts contribute to One Community’s mission of transforming the global sustainability discussion through open-source collaboration, ecologically responsible innovation, and a focus on long-term global development. Chelsea Mariah Stellmach (Project Manager) continued her work on several One Community projects, including the phased rollout, kitchen inventory software build, and governance software design mockup. This week was Chelsea’s final week with the organization, and she worked on the pricing sheet for Phase 3 equipment. The efforts included completing rows with missing information, transferring applicable details from the Phase 2 equipment pricing sheet, and researching new information for items that did not have existing data. These contributions support transforming the global sustainability discussion by strengthening both technical execution and design alignment across the platform. Jay Nair (BIM Designer) continued working on the Aquapini and Walipini Planting and Harvesting documents. He worked on completing the remaining zone areas for the Walipini 1 greenhouse and verified the geometry of all zones against the project plans to ensure accuracy. He also confirmed the lighting fixture selection for each zone and reviewed the seasonal photoperiod values used in the lighting energy calculations, ensuring the data aligned with the project requirements and supported consistent results within the lighting energy calculator. These updates improve the stability and adaptability of shared systems, supporting the broader goal of transforming the global sustainability discussion. Shameera Musthafa (Data Analyst) recently joined the Highest Good Food initiative and continued supporting OC Administration and the PR Review Team by coordinating PR review workflows, reviewing the work of both the Admin and PR teams, and providing feedback to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all deliverables. She organized and categorized project images, created visual collages, and finalized blog-related content as part of PR review coordination, ensuring that both visual and written materials were properly curated and documented. These technical updates advance the team’s objectives, ensuring that all completed tasks directly contribute to transforming the global sustainability discussion.
Additionally, Shameera contributed to the Highest Good Energy report pages and related visualizations. She also managed the One Community Bluesky social media account, creating and publishing posts to help share project updates and increase outreach and engagement. In addition, she supported the hiring process by conducting interviews and evaluating candidates. She also conducted end-to-end testing of the PR Review Team Admin Dashboard, validating key workflows, identifying issues, documenting results, and helping ensure the dashboard functioned as intended. This week, the core team continued contributing to the Highest Good Energy initiative. They reviewed the Food Procurement and Storage page, the Highest Good Energy page, and the Summary section of the Aircrete document, providing feedback on each to improve formatting, consistency, and readability. They also continued work on the food rollout steps cost analysis and developed visual suggestions for the Highest Good Food page to support the presentation of the information. This work contributes to transforming the global sustainability discussion, as shown in the collage below.
Rohan Pariakar (Operations and Supply Chain Analyst) continued working for the Highest Good Energy initiative. He focused on evaluating the transition from temporary generator-based power generation to a solar-powered energy system by integrating generator, solar, battery, and cost analyses into a phased implementation model. He compared existing project spreadsheets to establish daily energy demand, installed solar capacity, expected solar generation, peak sun hours, system performance ratio, and battery storage assumptions, and used selected solar module specifications to verify the project’s solar sizing calculations. Multiple worksheets were cross-referenced to identify inconsistencies between the 0–20 and 20–50 person energy demand models, with differences documented for management clarification before the analysis was extended to later population phases. These efforts support transforming the global sustainability discussion by enhancing clarity and accessibility.
Rohan also expanded the project workbook by updating equipment costs for one- and two-generator configurations, incorporating revised monthly fuel operating costs, adding a consolidated solar capacity calculation summary, evaluating Tesla Megapack storage configurations against projected solar generation and community demand, and creating a phased energy transition table linking population growth, primary energy sources, daily energy demand, installed solar capacity, expected solar generation, projected excess energy, and generator requirements. The feasibility of linking calculations between separate Google Sheets workbooks using dynamic references was also assessed to support automatic updates as source calculations are revised. One Community is transforming the global sustainability discussion through Highest Good education that is for all ages, applicable in any environment, adaptable to individual needs, far exceeds traditional education standards, and more fun for both the teachers and the students. This component of One Community is about 95% complete with only the Open Source School Licensing and Ultimate Classroom construction and assembly details remaining to be finished. We’ll report on the final two elements to be finished as we develop them.

In her Software Administrator role, she reviewed the work of the Binary Brigade and Dev Dynasty software teams, added summaries to Step 2 documents and Blog #692, commented on team members’ updates, uploaded images, maintained collages, and updated Step 4 tracking, furthering One Community’s mission of transforming the global sustainability discussion through improved platform functionality.
Rajeshwari also began editing the Ultimate Classroom Footer, Foundation, and Flooring Design report, structuring researched content for future review. Jung Ah “Romey” Choi (Graphic Designer) continued contributing to the Highest Good Education initiative and completed the design work for the Ultimate Classroom PUBHTML5 version by converting existing 2D illustrations into 3D photorealistic images, finalizing the title design and page numbering, and preparing the layouts for digital publication. This week, the core team completed over 37 hours managing volunteer work reviews, handling emails, overseeing social media accounts, supporting web development, and identifying and integrating bug fixes for the Highest Good Network. They also interviewed and onboarded new volunteer team members. Additionally, they produced and integrated the video above, which highlights how transforming the global sustainability discussion serves as a foundational element of One Community’s broader mission of creating global sustainability. Pooja Kulkarni (UI/UX Designer) continued her work on refining the governance platform screens, including the approval group proposal view, group selection orientation flow, group and role explanation screens, live governance portal displays, live voting view, and proposal detail view. She focused on making the group structure clearer, improving stage-based navigation, simplifying proposal status information, and creating public-facing dashboard views that summarize governance activity, voting progress, urgent items, and community impact. Adhya Rastogi (Business Analyst) continued contributing to the Highest Good Society team by optimizing a Google Ads campaign by reviewing and cleaning up more than 300 redundant and overlapping keywords, adding new targeted and negative keywords, updating headlines and descriptions, adjusting bidding settings, and applying relevant optimization recommendations to improve campaign structure and targeting. She continued SEO work by reviewing documentation, training materials, and tracking resources, creating a baseline analytics framework using Google Analytics, updating the SEO tracking spreadsheet, researching methods for comparing original and optimized webpage content, and sharing the completed framework and findings for feedback. She also maintained Reddit engagement by contributing comments across relevant communities, publishing a discussion post, participating in follow-up conversations, and monitoring engagement patterns to better understand audience interests. Adhya also revalidated the Total Organization Summary Dashboard, identified and documented new bugs related to dashboard functionality and data inconsistencies, reviewed previously reported issues, updated their tracking status, and shared the latest testing observations with the core team. Mridul finalized Blog #692 summaries across multiple teams, reviewed formatting, grammar, and guideline compliance, managed Twitter/X and LinkedIn content, completed weekend analytics tasks, and reviewed Udayan’s dry run work while providing recommendations. Ola monitored the social media KPI dashboard, reviewed Pinterest analytics performance data, updated daily administrative and pull request files, and organized the team’s digital workspace to support efficient administrative workflows. These administrative, analytics, documentation, and communication efforts contribute to transforming the global sustainability discussion.
Pranjul monitored volunteer timelogs, corrected logging issues, tracked volunteer activities, issued warnings when necessary, managed Tumblr and Medium updates, gathered weekly project information, and published the final WordPress blog. One Community is transforming the global sustainability discussion through open source Highest Good Network® software that is a web-based application for collaboration, time tracking, and objective data collection. The purpose of the Highest Good Network is to provide software for internal operations and external cooperation. It is being designed for global use in support of the different countries and communities replicating the One Community sustainable village models and related components.
This week, the core team continued testing Highest Good Network pull requests on the main branch, confirming that 10 pull requests were fixed and identifying that another 10 were not. They were also unable to test several pull requests because the required data was not available on the Main branch; these included adding a new bar chart card to the Lessons Learned section on the Total Construction Summary page, fixing the search error in Member Group Check In, adding separate inputs for tools and equipment, fixing the Cancel and Submit button functionality on the Daily Equipment Log, and enhancing the Cost Breakdown by Category donut chart interaction and user interface. Maithili continued development on the Pinterest Auto Poster feature by creating frontend components following the established platform design patterns. Handika reviewed multiple pull requests and provided detailed functionality feedback, approving pull request 5095 after verifying mobile display fixes, and approving backend pull requests 2019 and 2145. Conversely, he requested revisions on frontend pull requests 4978 and 4736 due to package merge conflicts and layout shifts, and requested revisions on pull requests 4836, 1709, 5306, 4738, 4680, and 2178 to address scrolling bugs, broken links, disconnected service files, layout display problems, and database saving errors. Sai updated pull request 4385 to correct navigation redirection errors on the Log Issues and View Issues pages, and modified pull request 4537 to add resource filtering by project and tool name, filter selection persistence, reset options, and light and dark mode style updates. Som resolved merge conflicts across pull requests #5163, #4987, and #5189 to preserve filtering, pagination, list view, and export features, and updated tests to match component changes. Yingshu investigated Task 1191 regarding profile hours updates causing page jumps by reproducing the issue across local and development environments, and reviewed Task 1190 by creating a development branch and beginning implementation work for date selection controls within the Contributors Report interface. The Binary Brigade Team, which presented their work on the Highest Good Network software, was managed by Roshini Seelamsetty (Software Engineer) and included Manoj Puttaswamy (Software Engineer). The Highest Good Network software is our tool for managing and objectively measuring progress, ensuring that all contributions are tracked and aligned with our mission of transforming the global sustainability discussion. It supports social architecture, construction, production, and maintenance processes that contribute to open-source projects and resilient, sustainable ecosystems.
This week, Manoj worked on the HighestGoodNetworkApp Teams page, fixing issues related to the “See All” toggle visibility feature and resolving a 30-second page load problem. He corrected backend team aggregation logic that was dropping members with different team codes, updated the visibility function to modify only the selected user’s profile, fixed frontend visibility state mapping issues, prevented toggle state resets across modal opens and closes, and eliminated visibility toggle flashing during data loading. The Dev Dynasty Team’s summary, covering their work on the Highest Good Network software, was managed by Rithika Pai (Software Engineer). The team includes Sireesha Kunchala (Software Engineer) and Saurabh Jayant Dipte (Software Engineer). The Highest Good Network software helps manage and objectively measure processes by transforming the global sustainability discussion through social architecture, construction, production, and maintenance systems.
This week, Sireesha corrected a duplicate link validation issue in the user profile editing modal by expanding the logic to check for matching URLs in a case-insensitive manner, preventing duplicate links from being saved under different names, resolved SonarQube quality gate issues and code smells in the dashboard bar-graph components, patched a server crash related to an object identification failure on the issue model by rearranging static routes and introducing strict parameter validation in the Express router, and verified functionality for empty user search state notifications furthering One Community’s mission of transforming the global sustainability discussion.
Saurabh worked on resolving merge conflicts for two pull requests related to the Project Status Donut Chart feature, identified a duplicate controller issue on the backend where two separate implementations of the project status endpoint existed, and updated the router to point to the correct controller. Hence, the API response includes the window field with startDate and endDate, and resolved a yarn. Lock conflict on the frontend, fixed missing file errors for messagingConstants.js, userPreferenceActions.js, and userPreferenceConstants.js, fixed a missing import for the ProjectStatus component in routes.jsx that was causing a runtime error, and addressed two SonarCloud contrast warnings in ProjectStatus.module.css by darkening the button background color. Rithika rebased backend PR #1903 onto development, resolving multiple rounds of conflicts in bmToolStoppageReasonController.js across validation, caching, error handling, and refactor commits, inlining date parsing helpers after discovering a missing utility file, and ensuring all backend tests passed; rebased frontend PR #4396, resolving a yarn.lock conflict, fixing stylelint errors across four CSS files, including unclosed media query blocks, renaming ToolStatusDonutChart.css to .module.css to pass the CSS Modules enforcement check, and resolving SonarQube code smells, including unused variables and an unused import; rebased all remaining Week 10 frontend and backend branches onto development, resolving package-lock.json and yarn.lock conflicts, skipping release revert commits, and fixing a leftover conflict marker in toolUtilizationController.js; and rebased frontend PR #4587 onto development, resolving conflicts across multiple CSS and JS files and fixing duplicate CSS selectors and unclosed blocks that were causing a Netlify build failure. This week, Mahitha completed the badge notification and formatting task by updating the new badges earned and badges from previous week functionality, supporting transforming the global sustainability discussion through improved platform tracking and user visibility. She ensured notification counts and badge displays matched the required behavior, tested the changes, and submitted PR #5356. She also investigated the dashboard data download issue by testing dashboard reloads, examining APIs involved in dashboard loading, tracing inactive task data, and creating a development branch for a fix. In addition, she worked on repository image optimization by converting PNG files to web format, updating image references, modifying 114 files, documenting the work, and testing image rendering after the changes.
Shravya worked on multiple pull requests by resolving dark mode and app delivery issues, addressing reviewer feedback, adding testing explanations for seeded database requirements, assisting reviewers with mongodb role-related issues through documentation and video demonstrations, resolving merge conflicts, and preparing several pull requests for merge or re-review. Sohail continued work on the PR grading feature across the frontend and backend by resolving team identifier mismatches, updating schemas, controllers, indexes, and API endpoints, performing mongodb migrations, adding reviewer deletion functionality, fixing duplicate record creation, implementing route access controls, replacing mock data with live data handling, adding save and validation features, enabling team and week selection functionality, updating dashboard integrations, and writing twenty-two tests covering success, error, and edge-case scenarios, contributing to transforming the global sustainability discussion through stronger review and reporting systems.

This week, Abhishek reviewed PRs #5188, #5207, #5208, #5259, and #5276 in the HGN app frontend repository. He verified features related to tracking systems, event card details, date filter fixes, and graph updates. He also investigated long-open PRs #2765, #2959, and #4425 and confirmed through local testing that their changes were already present in the development branch, making the pull requests no longer necessary. In the case of PR #4425, he verified that dark mode support for the dashboard equipment update page was already functioning correctly in the development branch, supporting efforts focused on transforming the global sustainability discussion through platform improvements and maintenance. Aseem worked on the planned vs. actual costs feature by adding a reset filter button, improving dark mode compatibility for the planned vs. actual costs graph and related controls, and merging the latest development branch updates to maintain alignment with the current codebase. Diya continued work on the Blue Square system by fixing issues affecting weekly auto-reply emails, including variable scope errors, timezone mismatches, email priority handling, duplicate email prevention, and configuration consistency, and raised PR #2257. She also investigated Gmail email-threading issues, implemented header-based email threading using the existing email thread infrastructure, connected infringement and auto-reply emails to a shared thread structure, and raised PR #2259, with final live validation pending. This week, Jaden reviewed pull requests covering multiple features and bug fixes. He requested changes for PR 5136 due to dark mode contrast issues on the Projects, User Management and Reports pages; PR 4482 because the Education Portal login was inaccessible for testing; PR 5165 because pie chart tooltip text was not visible in dark mode; PR 4937 because page scrolling was broken; and PR 4815 due to failing CI checks, SonarQube duplication, failing unit tests, deployment failures, merge conflicts and unresolved functional issues. He approved PR 4826 after verifying inventory type editing, deleting, toast notifications, list refresh, dark mode and overall functionality, approved PR 4740 after confirming removal of unintended dashboard text without affecting the header and approved PR 4608 after validating the implementation and dark mode behavior. These efforts support transforming the global sustainability discussion by enhancing clarity and accessibility.
Nirali implemented backend APIs for Volunteer Hours Reporting, including committed volunteer hour calculations from task estimated hours, aggregation across WBS items, teams and projects and date-range filtering based on task start and due dates to support volunteer, team and project reporting. These updates contribute towards transforming the global sustainability discussion by improving platform functionality, code quality and the reliability of collaborative tools within the Highest Good Network.
Radia worked on PR 5354, PR 4616 and PR 5016 by refactoring the RentalChart component to reduce complexity, resolving merge conflicts, fixing linting issues, improving dark mode contrast for calendar and dropdown elements, refining input styling and spacing, applying CSS module updates and beginning implementation of the calendar feature for PR 5016.
