One Community is facilitating complete global regeneration through Highest Good education that is for all ages, applicable in any environment, adaptable to individual needs, far exceeds traditional education standards, and more fun for both the teachers and the students:
This last week the core team finished another 25% of the Signs Lesson Plan mindmap which you can see below. This mindmap and the lesson plan that goes with it teaches all subjects to all learning levels in the context of “signs and symbolism.”
We also created the foundations of the 30+ other lesson plan pages that you can see linked to here. The general formatting for all these pages is now complete on the site so that we can more easily input the content as we finish it.
Behind the scenes we also finished a rewrite of the Signs Lesson Plan and the first 10% of the lesson plan design with the central theme of “Love.”
One Community is facilitating complete global regeneration through Highest Good food that is more diverse, more nutritious, locally grown and sustainable, and part of our open source botanical garden model to support and share bio-diversity:
This last week the core team finished two more complete breakout pages from the large-scale gardening page. These included the Carrot page with all the featured carrots and details you see here plus the Cole Crops page. This new format is designed to load faster and give us the space to add recipes, gardening tips, harvesting and canning tips, videos and more.

This week the core team finished adding shelving, lights, and other details to the upcoming crowdfunding campaign laundry, bathroom, and kitchen dome:
We also finished enough of the electrical planning specifics for this campaign to begin putting together the beginnings of the earthbag construction dome home electrical infrastructure webpage that you can see here.
We also finished adding the energy rollout and phasing-in details for the “landing party” for a village construction team. From a complete global regeneration standpoint, these added details cover an initial team of 10-20 people to land anywhere in the world, set up power, and prepare to build a Highest Good and Global Stewardship self-replicating teacher/demonstration hub.
And we also finished another 30% of the Murphy bed wall, changing area, and storage component images that you can click the icons below to see. This brings us to 70% complete with these parts overview images and plans for this custom furniture design by Philip Gill (Interior and Furniture Designer and Owner of Philip Gill Design) for the complete earthbag village domes.

One Community is creating a place to grow together and change the world together. We are creating a space that helps each other live in integrity with each other and the planet as we strive to be the greatest versions of ourselves. We do this by harmoniously respecting each other, nature, and the rest of our one shared planet.
Our goal is to demonstrate what we feel is the most sustainable, healthy, and fun environment we can create. A place based on compassion, kindness, and collaboration. This replicable community will serve as an example for what is possible.
Throughout our design process we are open sourcing and free-sharing everything needed for construction and replication. This includes what we call “Highest Good” approaches to food, energy, housing, education, for-profit and non-profit economics design, social architecture, fulfilled living, stewardship practices and more. We are creating these resources for implementation as individual components or complete developments called teacher/demonstration hubs. These hubs will help launch additional hubs as awareness and knowledge grow.
One Community will be the first teacher/demonstration hub. It will function as an experiential-learning model that facilitates mass participation to address humanity’s most pressing challenges through: A replicable model for expansion, building seven self-sufficient village/city prototypes, becoming the world leader in open-source sustainability solutions, and evolving and expanding ALL aspects of sustainable living.
The One Community self-replicating model is capable of creating a sustainable planet within 30 years. We will achieve this by establishing successful teacher/demonstration hubs on every continent. Villages include designs appropriate for each of the five main types of climates. They also include options for even the most challenged economies. These hubs will collaborate with one another, share ideas, resources, and work together as a network to heal the planet. They will also transform the global lifestyle to a more enjoyable, fulfilling, healthy, and sustainable one.
The specifics of how One Community is accomplishing this can be found on the One Community Solution Model to Create Solution-creating Models Page. Research supporting and showing the benefits of a model like this can be found on our Research and Resources Articles Archive.
Even if we don’t achieve our ultimate goal of global transformation, a self-replicating teacher/demonstration model like this will take a relatively short period of time to positively affect millions while inspiring millions more. For One Community residents (the Pioneer Team), the idea of creating and sharing the social and recreational experience with visitors is also fun, exciting, fulfilling, and an additional reason why we are creating this.
One Community’s four-phase strategy for the creation of solution models that create solution creating models uses open source blueprints for duplication that simultaneously address all aspects of the human experience (food, energy, housing, education, social inequality and injustice, fulfilled living, etc.). We see these areas as interdependent and requiring a comprehensive solution if humanity is to move ecologically, socially, economically, and permanently towards a truly sustainable future for everyone.
Our open source model and blueprints engage and inspire people while simultaneously making sustainable living more affordable and easy to replicate. By free-sharing the step-by-step plans people need for duplication, inviting people to participate, and demonstrating sustainable teacher/demonstration hubs as a more desirable way of living, the model will predictably expand on its own.
It is this approach we see uniting the world and leading to a new Golden Age for humanity. While we understand that not everyone believes this is even possible, we are nonetheless bringing together all those that do see this as possible as the non-profit think tank of forward-thinking individuals willing to design, build, and open source project-launch blueprint and free-share it for The Highest Good of All.
One Community is building solution-creating models designed to create additional solution-creating models to specifically facilitate exponential and sustainable global teacher/demonstration village growth. The following four phases of the strategy we are applying are designed to support each other and accelerate the process globally:
Phase I: Demonstrating a Better Way
We are designing One Community to demonstrate an experience of living that we believe most people will consider to be better because it will be more enjoyable and fulfilling. We also think most people will consider it better because it is made possible specifically through a foundation of sustainable sustainability and a philosophy that is for The Highest Good of All.
Phase II: Open Source Project-Launch Blueprinting
Everything we do we are open source project-launch blueprinting and free-sharing to make it as easy and affordable as possible to duplicate, adapt, and evolve in the manner that suits each individual and/or group’s needs. Free-sharing information like this is our aggressive-exposure engine and an aspect of One Community that will accelerate indefinitely as we continue to build our team, move onto the property, and continuously build and evolve everything that is One Community.
Phase III: Inviting the World to Participate
Everything we are open source project-launch blueprinting is designed to invite the world to participate by duplicating it as either individual components or complete teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities that will be able to be built almost anywhere in the world. Additionally, people can join One Community as members, consultants and/or partners, or use the suggestions links on our open source project-launch blueprinting hubs to help with the design, implementation, and evolution process. Scholarships, weekend learning and work crews, and tourism will be foundations of One Community once we have sufficient infrastructure in place to support these options.
Phase IV: Universal Appeal and Global Expansion
As One Community continues evolving and establishing ourselves, everything we create and promote will serve as the engine to inspire people to align with the concept of open source and sustainable living for The Highest Good of All. We are doing this to create mainstream appeal and our path to achieving this appeal is demonstrating a happier, more affordable, and ecologically friendly model of living that can be built anywhere in the world.
Open source project-launch blueprinting it all is how we believe the model will spread and, possibly most importantly, that it will predictably spread even faster in the areas where it is needed most because building restrictions, the cost of land, and materials costs are in most cases lower in these areas.
We are creating everything One Community does as open source and free-shared blueprints because we see this as the path to a new Golden Age of creativity, innovation, cooperation, and collaboration for all of humanity. Our model is a solution model that creates additional solution creating models enabling people to live and collaborate globally for The Highest Good of All. The easier we make everything we do, the faster we see the world transitioning.
Every aspect of this model supports itself and contributes to its success, from the sustainable food, energy, and homes, to the social architecture, One Community Education Program, and open source sharing model itself. Each piece can be accessed, evolved, and even re-birthed as something completely new. It can be duplicated by itself or with other modules, with applications as diverse as the people who want and need them. The constantly expanding total model will additionally be able to be used in its entirety as the open source project-launch blueprint for a variety of duplicate teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities capable of being built virtually anywhere.
The most profound part is: the more we open source share, the more we help move everyone forward, the more people know about what we are doing and can participate, and the more successful and capable we are of project-launch blueprinting and sharing even more still. This is all supported and made possible because:
One Community sees the issues of the world as interdependent and interconnected. To address them simultaneously, we are open-source blueprinting a more advanced standard of living by designing holistic, environmentally-regenerative, self-sustaining, adaptable solutions for all areas of sustainability. We will model these within a comprehensive “village/city” which will be built in the southwestern U.S. This teacher/demonstration hub will be a place people can experience a new way of living and then replicate it with our open source blueprints: creating a model solution that creates additional solution-creating models.

Regenerative Human Progress – Signs and Symbols Mindmap – 25% Complete
We also finished the final 60% of the Harmony Lesson Plan webpage. You can see the new additions here and click the image for the complete page:
Behind the scenes we also finished 30% of the lesson plan design with the central theme of “Recreation.”
One Community is forwarding regenerative human progress through Highest Good food that is more diverse, more nutritious, locally grown and sustainable, and part of our open source botanical garden model to support and share bio-diversity:
This last week the core team completed adding the 6 featured Asparagus you see here to the large-scale gardening page. Visit the complete page for purchasing details, cultural considerations, and planting guidelines for these and over 400 other food plants.
One Community is forwarding regenerative human progress through Highest Good housing that is artistic and beautiful, more affordable, more space efficient, lasts longer, DIY buildable, and constructed with healthy and sustainable materials:
This last week the core team finished the final 30% of the earthbag construction footers, foundation, and flooring tutorial page you see below. This is all part of preparation for our upcoming crowdfunding campaign and the first fully outlined and completed example with video placeholders showing the comprehensiveness and detail we are committed to providing with our open source creative process.
Related to this and behind the scenes, we’ve also finished another 70% of the electrical details page that will eventually look just like the page above. We are now 80% done there.
And we updated our main crowdfunding campaign page with an outline of all the other pages to come:
We also switched the crowdfunding campaign laundry, bathroom, and kitchen dome from the 150 square foot dome to one of the 200 square foot domes and created the two layouts you see developing here:
Lastly, Philip Gill (Interior and Furniture Designer and Owner of Philip Gill Design) finished a redesign of the bed portion of the Murphy bed dome-home furniture design. We mis-reported last week that we were done with all of the Murphy Bed measurements and parts and we still had this one that needed to be redone due to an error we discovered. After Philip fixed the error, we then redid all the measurements and individual parts pictures. Here is a collage of some of these:
One Community is forwarding regenerative human progress through a Duplicable and Sustainable City Center that is LEED Platinum certified/Sustainable, can feed 200 people at a time, provide laundry for over 300 people, is beautiful, spacious, and saves resources, money, and space:
This last week the core team updated the complete Duplicable City Center 3-D Sketchup file to match the CAD floor plan that was recently updated compliments of Karl Harris (Architect Drafter, Designer, and founder of Harris Design & Technology Services). This meant adding the boiler room and updating all four floors surrounding the elevator that needed to be expanded.
We also finished the first 20% of the property-wide hydronic setup details and did another complete overhaul on the energy plan phase-in process starting with 20 and working to 400+ people. Here is a picture of our hydronic setup googledoc in progress:
Evolving the energy details behind the scenes included an assessment of energy storage options showing the relationship of time needing to store energy (on the left) to kWh needing to be stored to make different options viable. For our first 400 people, it appears batteries remain our best bet since we will not need to store sufficient energy to make one of the less conventional energy storage methods more affordable or sustainable than batteries:
Behind the scenes, James Nance (Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager with P2S Engineering) finished about 50% of the work and research needed to see if integrating a heat recovery unit into the One Community eco-laundry dryer exhaust will make sense. This is a picture of one of one of the fan components we’re evaluating as part of that possible system.
One Community is forwarding regenerative human progress through a Highest Good society approach to living that is founded on fulfilled living, the study of meeting human needs, Community, and making a difference in the world:
This last week the core team completely updated and simplified our Policies and Procedures in relation to accountability. This is after two weeks of team discussion and adaptation reflecting on over a year and a half of experience with the current system. The update included increasing the minimum weekly tangible contribution for Pioneers from 4 hours to 5 and streamlining and simplifying our accountability and consequences process for not contributing the minimum time and/or missing mandatory weekly team calls. Here is a screenshot of the updated page:

One Community is developing sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building through Highest Good education that is for all ages, applicable in any environment, adaptable to individual needs, far exceeds traditional education standards, and more fun for both the teachers and the students:
This last week the core team finished another 30% of the Harmony Lesson Plan webpage, bringing us to 40% complete there:
We also researched and added another huge group of resources to our open source and free-shared on-line education resources archive (now containing nearly 100 resources) and including the graphic below that we feel really does a beautiful job of describing why One Community is creating open source lesson plans and all the other all-ages all-subjects components of the Highest Good Education program:
Behind the scenes we also created a web-design tutorial for those interested in helping us with the Lesson Plans for Life components.
One Community is developing sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building through Highest Good food that is more diverse, more nutritious, locally grown and sustainable, and part of our open source botanical garden model to support and share bio-diversity:
This last week the core team finished adding the diversity details to the Bitter melon section of the large-scale gardening page where we featured the 4 you see here along with purchasing details, cultural considerations, and planting guidelines:
We also added the ah-cha-cha Achocha, also known as the “Bolivian Cucumber,” to the site:
One Community is developing sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building through Highest Good housing that is artistic and beautiful, more affordable, more space efficient, lasts longer, DIY buildable, and constructed with healthy and sustainable materials:
This last week the core team completed another 30% of the earthbag construction footers, foundation, and flooring tutorial page you see below. This brings us to about 70% of the way complete with this page. The tool section is done, excavation section is done, the footer section is done, the foundation section is done, and now all that remains is final editing and picture and video additions to the flooring and FAQ sections. This is all part of our developing crowdfunding campaign and the world image you see repeating is where we’ll be adding extensive tutorial videos as part of that campaign:
Related to this and behind the scenes, we’ve also finished the tools and initial outline of the electrical details page that will eventually look just like the one above. That page is now 10% done.
Also behind the scenes, we completed another 15% of the total energy infrastructure rollout details for off-grid community creation for 50-400+ people, bringing us to 75% complete there.
And we finished the measurements and parts details for the rest of the Murphy bed dome-home furniture design. The picture here is from our GoogleDocs in-progress. It is truly just a tiny snapshot and fraction of the actual document which is HUGE… taking the custom furniture designs by Philip Gill  (Interior and Furniture Designer and Owner of Philip Gill Design) for the earthbag village domes and dome home crowdfunding campaign and preparing them all for complete do-it-yourself building and assembly instructions:
One Community is developing sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building through a Duplicable and Sustainable City Center that is LEED Platinum certified/Sustainable, can feed 200 people at a time, provide laundry for over 300 people, is beautiful, spacious, and saves resources, money, and space:
This last week the core team completed another 30 seconds of the Duplicable City Center 3-D video. Now that we’re near the end of the video is it focusing on sharing the beautiful details of this structure to give people a perspective of what it will be like to walk around in it. Here is the video completed as far as we’ve gotten it done thus far:
We also updated the complete Duplicable City Center open source hub with the video, our newly completed CAD floor plan (updated compliments of Karl Harris of Harris Design & Technology Services), and a sizable bunch of additions to the page’s FAQ section:
Behind the scenes we completing another 10% of the control systems research bringing us to 90% total completion of the exploration of all the software and hardware options available for monitoring, management, and automation of everything from energy and water to internet usage. We’ve shown pictures of this action item in past weeks and hope to start creating the final and professional open source resource in the next couple of weeks.
One Community is developing sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building through a Highest Good society approach to living that is founded on fulfilled living, the study of meeting human needs, Community, and making a difference in the world:
This last week the core team completely rewrote our Welcome to the Team page. The purpose of this page and rewrite being to even better clarify the expectations and desires of both One Community and all our collaborative partners so we can create massive win-win relationships as people join our team. This is all part of a major push our organization is completing to put in place the infrastructure necessary to more efficiently welcome and work with more and more people… a building process we are actively engaging like never before and expect to accelerate dramatically with our crowdfunding campaign. One Community is creating a place to grow together and change the world together, along with a goal to create sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
A place based on compassion, kindness, and collaboration, serving as an example for what is possible in terms of creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
These hubs will help launch additional hubs as awareness and knowledge grow, furthering the cause of creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
One Community will be the first teacher/demonstration hub. It will function as an experiential-learning model that facilitates mass participation to address humanity’s most pressing challenges through: creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building, A replicable model for expansion, building seven self-sufficient village/city prototypes, becoming the world leader in open-source sustainability solutions, and evolving and expanding ALL aspects of sustainable living
The One Community self-replicating model is capable of creating a sustainable planet within 30 years. We will achieve this by establishing successful teacher/demonstration hubs on every continent, thus creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
Research supporting and showing the benefits of a model like this can be found on our Research and Resources Articles Archive, further reinforcing the importance of creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
Even if we don’t achieve our ultimate goal of global transformation, a self-replicating teacher/demonstration model like this will take a relatively short period of time to positively affect millions while inspiring millions more. For One Community residents (the Pioneer Team), the idea of creating and sharing the social and recreational experience with visitors is also fun, exciting, fulfilling, and an additional reason why we are creating this, thus fostering a sense of community and commitment to creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
We also think most people will consider it better because it is made possible specifically through a foundation of sustainable sustainability and a philosophy that is for The Highest Good of All, ultimately contributing to creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
Everything we are open source project-launch blueprinting is designed to invite the world to participate by duplicating it as either individual components or complete teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities that will be able to be built almost anywhere in the world, thereby creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
As One Community continues evolving and establishing ourselves, everything we create and promote will serve as the engine to inspire people to align with the concept of open source and sustainable living for The Highest Good of All, further creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
We are creating everything One Community does as open source and free-shared blueprints because we see this as the path to a new Golden Age of creativity, innovation, cooperation, and collaboration for all of humanity, ultimately contributing to creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.
The most profound part is: the more we open source share, the more we help move everyone forward, the more people know about what we are doing and can participate, and the more successful and capable we are of project-launch blueprinting and sharing even more still, ultimately leading to creating a sustainable, modifiable, and adaptable community building.

One Community’s four-phase strategy for the creation of solution models that create solution creating models uses open source blueprints for duplication that simultaneously address all aspects of the human experience (food, energy, housing, education, social inequality and injustice, fulfilled living, etc.). We see these areas as interdependent and requiring a comprehensive solution if humanity is to move ecologically, socially, economically, and permanently towards a truly sustainable future for everyone, ultimately contributing to creating adaptable solutions for society.
Our open source model and blueprints engage and inspire people while simultaneously making sustainable living more affordable and easy to replicate, further promoting creating adaptable solutions for society.
While we understand that not everyone believes this is even possible, we are nonetheless bringing together all those that do see this as possible as the non-profit think tank of forward-thinking individuals willing to design, build, and open source project-launch blueprint and free-share it for The Highest Good of All at the same time contributing to creating adaptable solutions for society.
We also think most people will consider it better because it is made possible specifically through a foundation of sustainable sustainability and a philosophy that is for The Highest Good of All, ultimately contributing to creating adaptable solutions for society.
Everything we are open source project-launch blueprinting is designed to invite the world to participate by duplicating it as either individual components or complete teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities that will be able to be built almost anywhere in the world, thereby creating adaptable solutions for society.
As One Community continues evolving and establishing ourselves, everything we create and promote will serve as the engine to inspire people to align with the concept of open source and sustainable living for The Highest Good of All, further creating adaptable solutions for society.
We are creating everything One Community does as open source and free-shared blueprints because we see this as the path to a new Golden Age of creativity, innovation, cooperation, and collaboration for all of humanity, ultimately contributing to creating adaptable solutions for society.
The most profound part is: the more we open source share, the more we help move everyone forward, the more people know about what we are doing and can participate, and the more successful and capable we are of project-launch blueprinting and sharing even more still, ultimately leading to creating adaptable solutions for society.

One Community is creating a place to grow together and change the world together, along with a goal to be creating regenerative world building.
A place based on compassion, kindness, and collaboration, serving as an example for what is possible in terms of creating regenerative world building.
These hubs will help launch additional hubs as awareness and knowledge grow, furthering the cause of creating regenerative world building.
One Community will be the first teacher/demonstration hub. It will function as an experiential-learning model that facilitates mass participation to address humanity’s most pressing challenges through: Creating regenerative world building, A replicable model for expansion, building seven self-sufficient village/city prototypes, becoming the world leader in open-source sustainability solutions, and evolving and expanding ALL aspects of sustainable living
The One Community self-replicating model is capable of creating a sustainable planet within 30 years. We will achieve this by establishing successful teacher/demonstration hubs on every continent, thus creating regenerative world building.
Research supporting and showing the benefits of a model like this can be found on our Research and Resources Articles Archive, further reinforcing the importance of creating regenerative world building.

This last week the core team completed about 70% of our research into the control systems for the Duplicable City Center. The picture here is a snapshot of this work that is researching the energy saving and automation systems we’ll be including in this structure:
We also created a diesel generator Macro to identify diesel usage at different energy usage and production levels throughout the year. This is the beginnings of a complete energy phasing-in schedule we’ll be creating to match the level of detail found in our internet implementation schedule and soil amendment strategy pages. This Macro is helping us identify the most affordable and efficient integration of solar and generators for our completely off-grid living environment that will expand from 50 people to 500+ over the period of just a few years.
The Graph at the bottom was to find the relationship between the % use and the Gallons Per Hour number from online data (“Gallons per Day” hyperlink). As we add solar solutions the Solar Generation goes up and the % use of the generator goes down effecting the fuel use.

One Community is happy to welcome Uncommon Good to the Highest Good Collaborators Team:
Uncommon Good (Nancy) www.uncommongood.org
Uncommon Good is “fostering idealism in education, medicine, and the environment” by creating communities that have love as their operating principle. They operate an education program for low-income minority students that enables them to succeed in school and break the intergenerational cycle of poverty through education. It also instills in them a love for humanity and the planet, so that they will be among the young leaders who will create love-based solutions for our societal problems. Uncommon Good’s health program supports young doctors, dentists, pharmacists and optometrists who bring compassionate health care to low-income people in community clinics in low-income neighborhoods. Uncommon Good’s urban farms treat the earth with loving reverence, avoiding the use of toxic chemicals and pesticides, and paying their farmers fair wages so they can support their families decently. Half of what Uncommon Good grows is given to the hungry and the other half is offered for sale to the community so that it has a source of local, healthy, organically grown produce. Uncommon Good’s Whole Earth Building office was built by hand using little more than on-site earth, with hundreds of community members participating. The building stands as an example of how communities can create safe, beautiful, comfortable buildings anywhere in the world without harming the planet. One Community is partnered with Uncommon Good because we share values of positive and permanent global transformation and as a source of ultra-eco building experience through the Whole Earth Building.

"In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the problematic model.
You create a new model and make the old one obsolete. That, in essence, is the higher service to which we are all being called."
