One Community welcomes Sayali Sable to the Software Team as our newest Volunteer/Consultant!

Sayali Sable, Intern Volunteer Software Engineer, One Community

Sayali is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Information Systems, with a strong foundation in full-stack web development using React, Node.js, and REST APIs. She is passionate about building clean, maintainable software and believes in the power of open-source collaboration to create meaningful, positive change in the world. While a member of the One Community Software Team, Sayali delivered 30+ pull requests across 16 weeks of contributions to the Highest Good Network (HGN) application. Her work has included building a real-time profile filtering system, a PR grading dashboard with dynamic test configuration and promotion confirmation workflows, a user state indicator system, a complete email management system replacing MailChimp, and bell notification milestones. She has also implemented full dark mode support across multiple components, optimized dashboard performance using parallel API calls and server-side caching, resolved critical SonarCloud security issues, and conducted thorough code reviews across 20+ peer PRs spanning frontend, backend, and API testing.
