One Community celebrates diversity as a foundation of community consciousness, global transformation, and for The Highest Good of All thinking. Our community goal with this approach is creating an environment without bias towards gender, race, religion, politics, sexual preference, age, culture, or lifestyle. Our global-transformation goal with this perspective is recognizing that we are all a part of One World Community.
The more we embrace and integrate the global diversity of backgrounds and ideas, the greater our potential collective, creative, and combined forward-movement becomes. This is what One Community sees as the future of our planet and why diversity is one of our foundational values and principles of success. This page explores this further with the following sections:

Diversity has always existed and more people than ever are becoming conscious and conscientious about its importance. People are recognizing that other people’s lifestyles and choices are their right and that it is fun and a true gift to ourselves to celebrate them. By putting aside preconceived notions about race, religion, politics, gender, sexual preference, and lifestyle, we are instead focusing on learning from each other, loving each other, and co-creating a better future for everyone.
For One Community, Diversity includes a living environment committed to, founded upon, and desiring to share it as part of our global transformation methodology. We recognize the subjectivity of reality and honor the individual perspectives of all people, understanding that to the individuals involved, even completely opposite points of view are 100% true from each unique perspective. From this mindset, and in alignment with both our for The Highest Good of All philosophy and value of Freedom, we see all realities, religions, lifestyles, etc. as perfect and correct for the people believing them, irrespective of personal beliefs.
Said another way, here is an identically intended diversity statement we have adopted. This was shared with us by (what is now called) the Earth Organization for Sustainability and is adapted with only minor changes:
In decision making* at One Community, the core value of “Diversity” is applied by asking ourselves the following three key questions:
* To ensure we are always aligned with our purpose, values, and mission, One Community uses the values as defined by our organization as the compass for all our decision making; we then factor in the diversity of individual perspectives and experiences. We highly recommend this approach because it saves us hundreds, if not thousands, of hours of collaborative decision making time. If you are considering our model as a template for your own creation, we especially recommend you apply this approach too and use, adapt, or completely change the values we’ve presented so you too can create a clear guidance system that aligns with your own organizational/group/individual needs.
From a global change perspective, we feel celebrating differences is foundational to living for The Highest Good of All and creating positive and permanent global transformation. We believe this is a more loving and kindness-based approach and that diverse approaches to solution-based thinking will objectively create better and more effective solutions. No matter how much any individual believes they are thinking outside the box, they can still be only thinking right outside their own box, and the more we embrace diversity the more we engage with thought processes operating outside entirely different boxes. This is essential to our flourishing culture of growth, creative collaboration process, and our Highest Good economics models because it infuses all these areas and more with different skills, talents, and views. Everyone has natural interests, gifts, and talents; bringing these talents and gifts together and sharing them with each other and the world is our goal.
One Community has also created a Diversity Lesson Plan as part of the open source Highest Good Education component. This lesson plan is purposed to teach all subjects, to any learning level, in any environment using the central theme of “Diversity.” Here is the mind map for the lesson plan:
One Community’s goal is to create a maximally enriching interactive and proactive environment for positive and permanent global transformation. Part of this is embracing race, religion, politics, gender, sexual preference, and lifestyle diversity. An even larger part of this is leveraging skill and team diversity to maximize the effectiveness, beauty, and applicability of our solution models that create additional solution-creating models for The Highest Good of All.

Q: How do you support your core value of Diversity in situations where diverse perspectives may differ from One Community’s core values?
First and foremost we are 100% transparent about our operations, policies, and our purpose, values, and mission so that people who already share these foundations can participate with like-minded confidence and understanding. Secondary to this, in decision making within One Community, we use the values as defined by our organization as the compass for all our decisions and processes first; we then factor in the diversity of individual perspectives and experiences. In this way we efficiently and effectively maintain our commitment to One Community’s core values, purpose, and goals while also factoring in the diversity of all perspectives and ideas.
