One Community welcomes Jay Srinivasan to the Software Development Team as our newest Volunteer/Consultant!
Jay is a versatile software engineer with experience across the stack and in various industries such as esports, fashion, retail, and e-commerce. He has successfully worked at small companies such as BeFrugal and XSET, where he demonstrated an ability to hit the ground running and contribute to critical projects. He has also shown the poise and competence to work at a large corporation like PVH. Jay strongly believes in flexibility, technical expertise, and understanding a product from diverse perspectives, not just as an engineer. Since joining the One Community team, Jay has contributed both as an engineer and a manager. As a full stack software engineer working on the open source Highest Good Network, Jay has made crucial contributions to code coverage of tests for the volunteer application, ensuring a robust application that is resilient to significant changes from various sources. He has also made important contributions to the application’s security by implementing new password policies and has enhanced accessibility on a wider variety of devices through UI optimization. As a manager-in-training, Jay conducts weekly reviews for his team, providing individual feedback and support.
