One Community is facilitating the evolution of our planet and our species to sustainably live and create. Our path to accomplishing this is to inspire people with a working model. This model is designed for widespread appeal by being affordable, applicable across a diversity of cultures, easily accessible, created so that people with average knowledge and little or no experience can duplicate it, and with a marketing engine capable of exposing enough people to build the necessary momentum for it to continue on its own. We see this as having the ability to create a New Golden Age of cooperation, collaboration, innovation, creativity, sustainable living, and increased happiness for everyone and everything on this planet. This page divides our timeline and goals into the following sections:
4-PHASE STRATEGY | STRATEGY DETAILS | SOLUTIONS THAT CREATE SOLUTIONS
The purpose of the first year: Establish our example of living and creating for the Highest Good of All, inspire millions, begin the self-replicating global teacher/demonstration hub movement. We will do this by open source sharing everything we do in accordance with Phase I and II of our global sustainable communities strategy and becoming the #1 provider of open source and free-shared sustainability information in the world.
Our primary goal for the first year on the property is to become the largest provider of open source and free-shared sustainability information in the world. Our plan to accomplish this within 6 months of moving is detailed in our open source page. A foundation of achieving this primary goal is also the completion or near completion and sharing of the following other aspects of One Community by the end of the second year:

All these goals support each other as part of One Community’s four-phase global change strategy. To further put the power to duplicate our comprehensive sustainability model in the hands of as many people as possible, we will also begin hosting our first visitors within 6 months. We expect to bring on our second group of Pioneer Team Members sometime within the second year.
A complete Master Plan for the property has been created so that the entire environment will be conducive to the One Community self-sufficient and self-replicating teacher/demonstration hub experience and goals. This plan includes our ideas for how the 7 villages will integrate with food production, the Duplicable City Center, other key infrastructure components, additional fulfilled living elements/components we are planning, plus options for visitors to stay even more affordably by camping.
The purpose of the first five years: Open source provide everything necessary to demonstrate and share modular sustainability models to help others build their own examples of living and creating for The Highest Good of All. Invite as many people as possible to participate and visit in accordance with our complete four-phase global sustainable communities strategy. Help to establish as many additional self-replicating and self-sufficient teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities as possible all over the world.
With our current projected workforce, we anticipate meeting an ambitious five to ten year goal to complete the majority of One Community and demonstrate all 7 sustainable communal housing village models. As the first of what will be many collaborating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities, and the world leader in open source sustainable world development tools, tutorials, and resources, we feel we will be able to successfully invite the necessary collaborative partners and other people interested in creating world change of this magnitude with us. By maintaining the productivity and strategy of our first year, the One Community model is designed to grow and expand to a 5-10 year accomplishment of:
All of this combined will create an infrastructure that will allow people to interact with One Community and the information we provide in the way that works best for the individual. If people want information and convenience, they will access everything through the internet. If people want hands-on experience, then they can join us for weekend work groups or apply to our scholarship program. And if it is just curiosity, the One Community experience, or an interesting place to visit that a person desires, then we offer tourism.
One Community is about moving beyond a model solution by building a solution creating model. This means a regenerative and better long-term approach to sustainable world development because One Community is not designed as just one solution, but rather as a creator of modular sustainability components and solutions. One Community and our duplicable model and free blueprints include everything from sustainable food, sustainable energy, and sustainable and duplicable eco-housing, to recreation, education, fulfilled living practices, and social architecture. While anything after five years is pure speculation, we believe that if we make each piece of One Community easy to duplicate, free to access, and well-known, people will follow our lead and start to build their own prototype infrastructures and establish a sustainable world model founded on self-sufficient teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities.
In the prophetic words of Buckminster Fuller: “In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the problematic model. You create a new model and make the old one obsolete. That, in essence, is the higher service to which we are all being called.” This is the long-term vision for One Community and our vision for the world.
Q: How many people do you expect to participate over the first five to ten years to accomplish these goals?
Tens of thousands will participate through visiting, hands-on learning opportunities, and/or living at One Community. Millions will participate by accessing and engaging our open source content.
Q: What if it takes significantly longer to achieve your building goals?
It will not affect our global transformation approach or goals if it takes longer to create One Community. We will still achieve becoming the #1 provider of open source sustainability information within the first 6 months of living on the property and our model is designed with sufficient additional funding and time built into it to allow us to succeed in our other goals even if they take 2-3 times longer than we anticipate.
